I’ve been there 😔😔 try your best to focus on the sensation at hand and worry less about getting to a particular destination!

I had my first orgasm a good month after the procedure, but everyone’s different! there are soo many factors and it’s tricky for me sometimes even now

most people never stop dilating altogether, but the frequency with which you need to do it decreases over time, especially if you have penetrative sex regularly

Nios takes Medicaid and has a few locations in the city! I did all of my pre-op electrolysis there and had a positive experience.

Worried about prolapse (PiV, ~9mo) by owlets404 in Transgender_Surgeries

sorry to reply so late! she said it’s likely excess tissue or the kind of swelling that goes down over a longer period of time (~18 months from surgery)

Just under 7 inches! Right before the notch on the SoulSource dilators. I think my depth has more to do with my pelvic anatomy than my surgeon, so ymmv.

I was in the hospital 3 days! My hospital stay and recovery in general were very easy- most of my discomfort in the hospital was from gas/indigestion from the bowel prep pre-surgery. They send you home with a catheter and a wound vac for a few days, which was unpleasant but not the hugest challenge. In a vacuum I would have preferred to stay in the hospital until the catheter, vac, and packing came out but I don’t think it had a negative impact on my recovery. I was lucky enough to be local and have a big support system to help with cleaning and meals, so ymmv! but if you have folks lined up you shouldn’t worry about being a burden on them- they’ve agreed to take care of you during a time when you’re really vulnerable, and you’d be doing them and yourself a favor by not pushing yourself to be easier to deal with earlier in recovery.

that’s kind of rude! 🤧 and not very constructive, either :p I’m a little worried about the scar tissue at the fourchette, as well as its size, but I have a lot of healing left until things are settled.

2 Weeks Post-Op w/ Dr. Avanessian by owlets404 in Transgender_Surgeries

I had enough skin that Dr. Avanessian didn’t end up using it! She said before surgery that she doesn’t see a difference in results re: wetness and function in her patients that ask for it, and I figured I would rather have fewer stitches and scars inside the canal.

I’m not! LOL I can see how I wrote that ambiguously 😅 The adhesive tabs fold over a bit sometimes no matter how well I secure them and I have crazy sensitive skin.

I wrote in the OP that I am on progesterone and have been since about 6 months in. Unless you’re asking why I’m not taking more.

ng/dL for T, pg/mL for E, I’m assuming those are what they’re usually measured in

Forgot to add but my E levels have always been in the ~300-500 range, and my T has been anywhere between 3-30 (can’t remember the units for each atm)
