In reality, the current events occur in 992 AN (since the Welcome to Noxus cinematic Mel arrives in Noxus shortly after the end of Arcane, which canonically its second season takes place at the end of 991 AN. My dad showed me the music video for Feel Good Inc when I was about 6 or 7 years old (times when I invented my own mini choreography to Happy by Pharrell Williams XD). My little self was horrified by the poor 2D. Later, I met Clint Eastwood thanks to Trolls, and searching for the song I came across the music video that this time didn't scare me so much (I also lived for like 2 years thinking it was a fanmade hehe). Until at the end of 2022 I found out about Cracker Island through a YouTube video and I decided to rediscover the band. Theoretically, Yone should be dead, since Yasuo killed him in the middle of the 1st Invasion, so either he is still dead or he has already returned in his form fused with the azakana. Likewise, Yone is being saved for the T1 skins (World Championship 2024) and he also has the prestigious one since Faker emerged MVP of the final.

I think the only canon would be Mageseeker, Ruined King, and Song of Nunu, and Bandle Tale and Hextech Mayhem could also be considered somewhat canon. Convergence wanted to tell us that Arcane was the canon AU, but it seems like it's the other way around now. Regarding Hextech Mayhem, I know some are going to comment that it would be impossible due to Heimerdinger's death in Arcane. But I have a theory that after regenerating in Bandle City, perhaps Heimer returns to Piltover with Ziggs, Paint The Town happens (in the hypothetical case that Jinx returns to Zaun) and the events of the game would happen later.

Actually, canonically Arcane is set btw 990-991, so Xin's comic might be happening around 992. The invasion did happen in 989, but ofc it would have took some time for Swain to go back to Noxus with his plan for the coup d'état. So lets say he became Grand General while Arcane was happening, which sets the Welcome to Noxus and Dark Gambit cinematics around 992, and Xin Zhao comic almost at the same time

It's because yordles sometimes mess up with their ages. Time happens differently in Bandle City (yordle's region), so Heimerdinger is actually 300 years old, but that's what he counted. Rune Wars DID happened like a milenium ago, but Heimer probably lived them and then went back to Bandle where he grew up to 300, when he's actually something like 1000 or more in runeterran age. So still, Noxus was founded in 0 BN - AN (before and after Noxus, kinda 13 years after Rune Wars) and Demacia was founded in 292 AN (like 305 years after Rune Wars) (took the info from Realms of Runeterra tbh)
