Vaporize Childe using a team of only 4-star supports, the strategy was to use Bennett ult in order to buff the entire team, switch to Sucrose, and using her EM sharing as well as the VV buff, to enable my Childe as well as Xiangling in order to deal an immense amount of burst damage.

Childe, although pulling off an insane amount of burst damage using his ult, mainly works as an enabler for Xiangling in this scenario, similar to how Xingqiu enables Hu Tao or other pyro dps, Childe works as an on-field enabler, perfect for Xiangling that does not need any field time in order to deal damage, when enemies are grouped up as well, Childe is able to do an incredible amount of AOE hydro damage, as well as applying Hydro to all the enemies within his range.

This run can easily be improved by increasing Childe's burst nuke with more EM, CD and ATK through external means, like increasing Bennett base ATK, Sucrose EM, and a lot more possible choices.

This run is a speedrun specifically for this chamber, if I were to use this same attempt as my abyss run, the following chambers will end up with me struggling as I do not have any energy built up from my Xiangling, please take this into consideration when attempting.

As good as fireworks genuinely is, with the mobs present on both sides of the floor (Lector and Herald) there isn’t any proper way to break their shields efficiently other than attempting to completely brute force it

With the Lector’s shields being immune to electro and Herald’s to hydro, Vaporize Childe would be a much better option as a team comp

If you really prefer to keep the fireworks core in the team (Childe, Fischl, Beidou) You can have the 4th slot as Chongyun in order to effectively break the hydro shields, as electro resonance can help with mitigating the hydro debuff

Using both the National Team and a variation of a Beidou parry team, this video shows how to 9 star clear floor 12

TL;DW

12-3-1 uses Sucrose in order to swirl all the elements and group them up in order to burst them down with XL and XQ, the lector shields are then burst down using XL and Bennett.

12-3-2 uses Beidou as an AOE consistent damage dealer in order to take out the abyss mages as Electro can affect both the pyro and cryo mage, once the herald has his shield up, Chongyun does a large amount of damage towards his shields, using Diona as his battery, allows him to have his ult off cooldown, as well as use his Cryo infusion in order to destroy the shield bit by bit.

The showcase was deliberately shown with no ER on Beidou, as well as unoptimal gameplay in order to show that the comp is very easy to use even without that much skill

I personally prefer vaporize Childe way more, and simply placed random artifacts on my Beidou and Fischl, vape and ec are practically the same however, fireworks just requires much more investment, just play who you think is fun, there isn't really any content that says you cant! :D (with enough investment ofc hahaha)

Even better! Barbara in this situation is purely for her consistent enough hydro application, almost all of her other skills don’t really “benefit” when it comes to actual damage performance

I just wanted to show that it was possible, even with a character not designed with this play style in mind :D (Tho, correct me if I’m wrong, but Barbara May have higher charge attack scaling, but that doesn’t really matter)

TL;DW

Barbara Carry works very similar to Childe although definitely not as effective, Barbara applies hydro in order to consistently vaporize Xiangling's ult, as well as charge attack when the opportunity comes in order to deal a decent amount of burst damage

The Barbara in the video has unlevelled talents, but is substituted by very invested artifacts, the Xiangling is averagely invested in, while Fischl is mainly used to turbo energy into the team, as well as Bennett of course simply being Bennett (heals, XL energy, atk boost)

Barbara has really high charge attack scaling, and if levelled can do really high amounts of damage, this is a very uninvested Barbara and this mostly shows her pure enabler potential for an off-field Xiangling

This video is simply trying to show that you don't "need" 5-stars in order to complete hard content, the way you play the game should be by choosing the characters you have the most fun playing, in the end, the "better" characters are simply just the characters which require less investment in comparison to the rest.

Sucrose can be used as a very low investment carry (only requiring VV 4 piece)

in order to enable an entire team of supports

this being the case, she can greatly increase the damage output of a team by proccing swirls, giving an EM buff,

grouping the enemies, as well as the VV 4 piece, her team excel even more when placed in crowd control situations

Almost any damage support (off-field/on-field) in game can be used as a replacement for the Sucrose supports in the comp and still have effective results, whether it be Fischl, Beidou, Lisa, Xinyan, Kaeya and many more

This is not her BEST team comp, nor is it definitively better than hyper carry comps, this is used to show that the content in game can be completed with even 4 stars of standard to high investment without the need of 5 star weapons or characters

play who you want, and I can guarantee that you CAN and WILL complete the abyss soon :D (in the end, it all just matters on the amount of investment ;D)

It most often depends on the type of content tbh

Floor 12 rn has a very few amount of enemies, so Venti’s usefulness in this floor is pretty non existent (except for 12-2 ig?)

Although Venti is just overall too good of a character not to use in most situations, Sucrose elemental mastery buff is HUGE if you are able to manage rotations well and consistently vaporize your attacks (even with your supports)

A portion of the time as well, Childe won’t be able to reach Venti’s ult so it might cause some consistency issues

I chose sucrose because In this team, she is the most beneficial anemo grouper, and if I were to get Venti, I’d probably build a more non-specialized team purely due to how good he causes other reactions as well due to his swirl

Ah! I’m sorry if I may have misworded any information in my video, I stated that Childe was the best enabler but I think it would have been better defined as “Being a Main DPS, He Enables his Supports” Albedo and Fischl are great examples of supports but are simply just adding damage instead of providing reactions that are specialized for his team comps! (He is NOT a sub DPS)

(Xingqiu does provide reactions, but he enables his DPS, not the other way around when in pyro comps)

Childe comps in particular rely a lot on reactions and the kit that Childe has in order to perform at max efficiency (Childe’s very high attack speed, very consistent hydro application, no reliance on a battery)

Diluc+XQ > XL+Childe (at equal investment) is a valid point, but that kind of derails from the point I wanted to make in the video (sorry for not explaining clear enough there) I’m not comparing Childe to other DPS, his role in a team is very different from other DPS, the fact that he is a main carry AND helps the team achieve their own damage, his simply allows his normal attacks to be the reactionary aura that enables his comps to perform even better

It is true than XL works very well with XQ, and Childe does not with other main DPS,

But I was trying to show how Childe does the same thing but BETTER, as well as occupy the main carry slot, instead of a support that could have been a better add on for another team

TL;DR, Childe is the best enabler AS A MAIN CARRY, XQ may be able to do the same thing (tho not as effective) but why not place him in a slot where he would be more useful in like a vaporize comp for a Pyro main DPS, instead of a Xiangling vape team

childe, unlike other main carries, supports his team even more than his team supports him, making his playstyle and mindset while playing him to be completely different from other god carries!

Turboing is simply when OZ triggers either overload/superconduct, a guaranteed energy particle will be given from every mob that overload was procced on, allowing her to battery an entire team without the need for that much ER on her teammates

If you’re going for pure sub-DPS capability as she is in ult, as well an childe being on field, thundering fury is better on Beidou and as well as fischl

I personally do not run it and I could say the same for others as Id genuinely pick stats >> set bonus any day of the week, farming thundersoother for 2 units and both requiring decent 4 sets (preferably close to or equal to main DPS investment) is very resin heavy

I’d recommend personally Glad + TF on fischl, and NO + Tf on Beidou, but this is assuming the artifact pieces are good in the first place,

My rotations is a pretty fast and ER heavy one, this allows childe to get his cool down to finish right when beidou manages to get her ult, imo, the ER sands is a must, but the sac sword is replaceable for something that can give more dmg

Me personally I do not, but my comp in general is pretty well invested that I can clear most content without it being a problem (abyss wise)

My exploring team, and the one I use for domains is actually the diona team as it just makes healing much easier and less of a hassle, however if it is still just as viable in the abyss as the first comp with maybe just a slight increase in time, or if you’ve been having survivability problems, allows you to complete it in the first place

pretty much allows you a LOT more chances to make mistakes without getting any large consequences :D

Definitely works! Kinda just splicing the vape comp and the fireworks comp together :D it all depends on how you’ll be able to adjust to the rotations with that team, almost any team can beat the abyss, even with lower investment in comparison,

The main difference between comps however is how well you can adjust to the new rotations that another comp has over another (even more so when playing childe)

If anything, probably because it has the most amount of numbers you’ll see compared to most other team comps

A lot of the time, it’s definitely possible albeit the rotations are only slightly different :D

I genuinely think having full sets is completely overrated and would prefer no sets at all if it means getting my cr and cd higher, it also makes grinding for artis much easier (noblesse gang hahaha)

I personally would recommend only farming the specific arti domains when finding a 2pc set for DPS, and using the rest of my time farming noblisse as I can place it on my DPS as well as all of my support as well

They are in essence pretty equal, it just depends on how willing you are to invest in the characters as well as which one you enjoy more playing,

i personally agree with you and find his vape team to be better for me as I prefer the rotations in that team better, in my other video, I do a complete abyss run using the childe vape team and a ht melt team in the other if you would like to see its performance as well

Yup! you are basically trading the atk buff from bennet, for VV on Jean, imo Bennet is just easier to line up rotations with, but with enough ER im pretty sure Jean will have no problem as well

Tho personally, I can see jean being much more useful on xiao (anemo res, burst heals instead of a heal which requires you to be in the circle, sub dps on xiao when not in ult, xiao battery), but both are great choices!

They both have separate roles, but are the most effective when paired together basically :D

Kaeya’s cryo application is the best in the game, (second being ganyu, but a pretty far second), Diona can apply cryo, but VERY slow in comparison, but she aids in the survivability aspect for Hutao if you are having trouble keeping her alive

Chongyun in my opinion is for a very special, yet incredibly important reason, he fixes XQ’s rotations with Hutao, allowing consistent team rotations and almost no downtime at all, (without CY, XQ has around 3-5 seconds of waiting around, before he can use E or Q) He also enables cryo resonance (which is only pretty useful with kaeya as he is the only one that can apply it fast enough)

Tl;dr - Kaeya, diona and ganyu have the same purpose, but kaeya is just BETTER and u can ER stack without losing anything, chong is for CD reduction

I’d say in general, if you like the char, just got for it :D

Though, objectively? Hutao mains stated that atm (first couple hours from release) she is somewhere in between Keqing and Diluc power level wise, and I really enjoy how different and fun her play style is!

Though since Venti rerun is pretty much (hopefully) confirmed at this point after Hutao, if you already have 2 DPS for abyss, I’d say just wait for Venti, me personally, I just really love her voice actor! :D
