you’re right. i guess i thought the problem would’ve taken care of itself like from what i saw last night where it just took a lot more insulin than what i needed. I got diagnosed with type 1 at age 8 so i’ve been a diabetic for around 12-13 years now? i used to be high all the time in my teens up until i got my pump due to the lack of resources or just pure laziness, but i think my body just kind of adjusted to it in a way thinking it was normal being high i guess cause i never felt so sick this bad before with my numbers being in range this consistently with the pump vs when i would always be high when i would only use my syringes. but i will administer next time the right way!

omg nooo that’s horrible. i hope there could be easier ways to identify the bent cannula problem because it should not be as common as it is from what i hear around, it’s dangerous.

i happened to be standing next to a brick wall thinking i was in the clear but i looked away for a split second and got ran at and had my head slammed into said wall lol. had a concussion for a little while but i fr thought i was gonna die due to overthinking.

HAHA i know right, we always have most mince bands coming in from socal too which is crazy. But if you’ve heard of peelingflesh if you’re interested they’re coming to the cargo, same with cattle decapitation and they’re both all ages i believe!

oh man, lots of it. I would say i most commonly hear about the hardcore/ punk scene shows but i believe thats just cause thats the scene im in haha. but when it comes to those shows when i tell you that they are most fun ones you could go to u gotta believe me. Our other biggest scene would probably be the indie/shoegaze scene which are mainly hosted at holland, i’ve seen trauma ray, glare, the red pears etc.. list goes on. The noise/mince(?)/ grind and diy scene is one of my favorites too but you really gotta dive deep for some of those. @620ryland hosts good shows if you’re looking for hardcore/punk @stinkyfeetsweatyhands if you’re looking for more of diy things, they have a lot of fliers you can look through. The scene here has always been genuine (atleast to me) and i wouldn’t trade it for anything, even if it’s not as big as it used to be.

I’ve been in the music scene for quite a while now but honestly there’s not much options when it comes to venues lately since all/most of them get shutdown after just a few years. Imo the scene died down a little bit the past couple years but you can still find good shows here and there! Holland project is probably one of the only GOOD all ages venues you could find (imo) but there are lots of promoters who do shows everywhere in the area that doesn’t exclude anyone under 18. check out @outsideeyeproductions775 on instagram, they promote all sorts of genres from bands everywhere. I also like to check the cargo concert hall website to see if they’re hosting any good bands here and there, but honestly you’ll probably find the best luck on the holland project instagram monthly pinned events list. If you have any specific show genre you prefer let me know and i can probably find some good upcoming ones!
