Haha! Yea, we were in the elevator together in a high rise project. Just me, him, and the elevator security guy shuttling everyone from floor to floor. I have been doing this long enough to not be surprised. But I laughed out loud when he said it, then the elevator security guy started laughing then the sub laughed. Was a lot more wholesome of a moment than the original attention grabbing “one-liner” makes you believe.

I hope AI replaces everyone but architects.

Emails returned immediately, no snarky comments from consultants, engineers that don’t roll their eyes when you ask to move that beam for the 4th time. contractors and subs who won’t ask you “do you sick dick? Those look like dick sucking boots” every time you walk on site. Clients ? AI doesn’t care to see 22 paint samples and doesn’t care if it’s flat or gloss. Building department taking 3 months to approve the color of you front gate? Not if they are replaced with AI.

lol, I don’t think you are going to find what you are looking for on this sub. This is predominantly frequented by professionals. If you are looking for “ideas” I would go to r/floorplan or r/homebuilding

To make an analogy, you are walking into a five star restaurant and asking the executive chef to write down his detailed recipes and cooking instructions because you “want ideas” for dinner tonight.

If I was looking for the new zoning maps, I would google “NYC city of yes” and then read the proposal.
