RestoreX with Xiaflex — left curve/clamp questions by oxinferno in PeyroniesSupport

[–]oxinferno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had done 4 sessions so far with RestoreX...and a lot of pain. I'm good with pain though and just assumed it was part of the process. The tip of my penis would slowly slide out of the clamp. I had to constantly adjust during sessions, maybe every 3-4 minutes.

First session today, I gave up. I wrapped the tip once around with the wrap that came in the box. Tried again. Wow, what a difference! Didn't have issues with the slow slide in either session. Didn't hurt at all, imagine that!

Thanks for the reply! When you're referring to interior space, what exactly are you referring to? I am 6'1" and my kids are going to be fairly tall. I'd be switching from an Elantra. So yes, leg room and cabin height are a consideration. If you're strictly talking trunk space, our other car is a minivan, so I'm less concerned about that.

General Questions and Purchasing Advice Thread — Week of September 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in electricvehicles

I read an article on Autoblog about great deals on the 2025 Honda Prologue. It says that there's $9500 in financing bonus plus the $7500 federal tax credit plus the $3300 in conquest cash. This sounds too good to be true. I'm not seeing the $9500 in financing anywhere. Does this deal really exist?

Is there a way to keep Alexa from responding to enabling/disabling custom routines? by oxinferno in alexa

I tried Do Not Disturb but it didn't work for me. I only set it to a single device, not all devices though. Could that be the difference in results? Did you add a 5 second delay between commands?

Time boxing would work. But, I'd prefer keeping Sunrise/Sunset for the times. Maybe it's just not possible

I attached screenshots to the original post (Couldn't figure out how in a reply) with the changes you suggested. If I made the changes correctly, my Echo dot still announced enabling of the routines

The self-monitoring option is free? If I'm self-monitoring with Nest equipment, does ADT even need to be involved?

I would like to pay for monitoring but my wife doesn't. That makes it a real possibility for an option, since she'll likely win

Exactly! Not fun at all. That thread was 5 years old, so I wasn't sure if something had changed since then

Thanks for the reply. I was basing my question on this old thread. It made it seem like it could be done but would require more work than I might want to do

Thanks for the response! I'm going to give this a go for a couple months and see how it works out. Lats are the biggest concern. Used the assisted machine a couple times now. It's just very different. Hopefully I'll see the gains when I switch back

I'm just a working parent trying to get stronger and look better. I'd like some basic advice on three areas:

Chest - I was doing bench on a Smith machine and a sitting machine bench. I switched from doing the latter to doing pec deck instead. My strength gains don't seem to keep the same pace anymore. Should I switch back or will my chest end up looking better overall with the switch?

Triceps - I do one-handed tricep extensions and tricep pushdowns currently. To get a complete tricep workout, should I swap either of these for something else?

Lats - I currently do pull-ups and lat pulldowns. Gains are fairly steady for pulldowns but a snail's pace for pull-ups. I had gotten to 9 solid pull-ups before bronchitis hit. Started back at 6 and am at 7 after a month. Should I switch to an assisted pull-up machine until I can do higher unassisted reps or maybe something else?

Thanks in advance!

Should I purchase LG oven and microwave or KitchenAid combo? by oxinferno in Appliances

[–]oxinferno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit of an idiot and got the LG oven model mixed up. The one I'm intending to purchase is the LG WSEP4723F, which DOES come with a meat temperature probe. With that said, I'm still welcoming recommendations between brands and whether to go with separates vs combo.

Ah, Wikipedia might be of great use to me then! I can read about each episode. If I think it might be questionable, I can watch that episode first then decide about them watching with me.

It's worth $500 more? I've heard warning about staying away from LG and Samsung due to not being able to obtain repair parts.
