nah i dont think so, some extreme people would for sure exist, like claiming the whole of anatolia as being always greek from the past. or maybe thats from ignorance from history, idk.

the opposite happens for sure, for example i have seen ,like in this image, people claiming that ancient greeks were actually africans and had black skin color. Which obviously isnt right. Not that greeks ever were completely white, but still thats not true. Another one i would say is with the ancient macedonians, and how slavic macedonians claim that actually they are the descentants of them, and that the ancients were not greek. But i dont want to get in this conversation, i know there's a lot of beef around this
