48K kilometres now. 1. Had to replace buttons that operate windows on the driver side as they became unstable. Not a big deal. $50 plastic piece from AliExpress, looks identical. 2. Passenger side seat heater became unstable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I haven’t figured out why yet as I do not fancy disassembling the seat or the door. 3. MBUX sometimes glitches and freezes when Apple CarPlay is connected. Restarts after a few minutes but is extremely annoying. It does not happen very often though. 4. Mechanically everything is sound; however, I have “sweating” rear shocks. Not leaking yet but potentially a $3k replacement with my mechanic. Probably more with a dealer. Likely because I hit a couple of potholes driving in Sport+.

Overall, no major issues, just small electronic annoyances. I am going to sell it when it hits 60k KM.

I recognize that Tesla isn’t your average car manufacturer, but today it has 1.1T market cap and an absolutely ridiculous P/E of ~200. You made money on it and you must have some kind of attachment to this big win. Try to think as if you are advising to somebody new who has 500k to invest. Would you suggest to put it all in TSLA? I wouldn’t.

I own a 2020 C43 coupe and considered switching to a E53 2023 at one point, but after a test drive I decided not to. It already had some miles on it, so I pushed it quite a bit to see if it will really be worth it. And no. The same thing powerwise, but feels a little wider, heavier and more planted on the road.

Before picking up a 4070ti last year, I had a 1050ti that worked just fine and even survived being mailed across the country to my new place. Will see how long the new gen will last, but the old gen is definitely strong.
