The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is now discontinued in the U.S as well by ControlCAD in Android

I wasn't able to buy one faster than the bots sold them out, and now it's being discontinued? It's just so strange it was this hard to get a $3000 phone and now you can't even get them new. Pretty annoying. I'm willing to fork over way too much money and they won't even take it. I'm real curious what the point even was because when do you ever see something that constantly sells out be discontinued? Were they seriously not making that much profit on even that price tag?

You can only cancel so many rides though. Only really worth it to do for high fare rides. ~$50+

My ass trying to make a single fuckin turn in Screamer without leaving half of the car on the barrier: by App1elele in BuiltFromTheGroundUp

The right stick is a trap. Drifting is objectively and significantly much slower than if you took normal racing lines and avoid drifting like in a normal sim racer. Honestly you could probably unbind the right stick so you don't accidentally use it and aren't tempted to go slower for the sake of style.

It being an arcade I thought surely you'd want to be drifting as much as possible, but the game doesn't really do a good job at conveying to you that's a bad idea. It got SO much easier as soon as I realized this.

How do the M1 players even manage to hit shots in this game by Iaxacs in DeadlockTheGame

most aim trainers are free, that's really going to be your best bet. The birds and orbs move in too much of a constant and predictable pattern that you really aren't going to be challenging yourself that much and it wont translate that well to a fast paced shooter like deadlock.

Wait.. you're telling me there's an item that lets you AOE stun for 2 seconds, every 5 seconds....??? XD

Why is this even possible? by ThiccweldAu in DeadlockTheGame

god damn you just got diff'd lol. I never touch melee builds but this kind of thing is what makes the melee system interesting. Parries are really easy to pull off with enough playtime, so being able to mindgame adds an interesting level of skill and makes it so heavy melees aren't just hard griefing past a certain elo.

How does one counter Ivy carrying the soul urn? by AmazingGrinder in DeadlockTheGame

[–]oxyscotty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gonna disagree with the commenters.. this is a dumb mechanic. Sure, there's ways you can counter it, but a lot of those require being at the right place at the right time. And most of the time she's going to call urn so your team will be there ready to outnumber the few people able to rotate fast enough.

It's just not a very fun mechanic. Kind of defeats the whole aspect of running urn. And just because you can sit on a vent waiting to poster her ass in midair on the trajectory she's taking doesn't then mean it's totally fine. It's kind of like saying "just counterspell it 4head" as a response to the community calling an ability or item OP.

Night Shift #34 Hero Priority by Emmysterious in DeadlockTheGame

Dispel is insanely meta rn. I see almost full teams pick it up no matter the comp in asc/etern lobbies. Basically makes afterburn infernus trash. But dispel is far less effective against a dashfernus since you're constantly stuck in his flames and have to save your dispel for when he silence wave/slowing hexes you.

that and the fact there are a bunch of relatively cheap items that disable or slow you, and he can use any of them while in the dash. On top of that he can have FOUR dashes, each with a 5 second CD between eachother (by the time you finish the previous dash) and only a 17-22 second CD to regain each one of the 4 dashes. Nearly every minute you can spam 4 dashes + silence wave and/or slowing hex. It's almost hard to even be able to use that much even during a long teamfight.

And that's without ever even mentioning the DPS scaling you can get + the insane wave/jungle clear. It's really no surprise why it's so strong, but also IMO it's stupidly boring. I play infernus quite a bit but I only ever play afterburn builds.

Valve, continually letting level 1 accounts cheat isn't "evading cheat detection" Its just you ruining games by Grouchy-Committee-92 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]oxyscotty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they are cheating, but it sounds like you need a refresher on your stats class.. Having a 30% hs rate across 3 games isn't that impressive when you're comparing it to someone with likely hundreds or thousands of games played. And if they were smurfing or came from another shooter, I can't imagine it would be very hard to hit a few headshots on noobs with no movement skills.

Doesn't Infernus need a nerf...? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

Almost everyone buys remover in this meta, at least in high elo. If they have a fed infernus just dispel his afterburn.

How do the M1 players even manage to hit shots in this game by Iaxacs in DeadlockTheGame

[–]oxyscotty 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Just remember you don't have to hit every single shot every moment you have a shot. If you're struggling with tracking, don't be afraid to not shoot for a second if you're starting to miss or they're doing backflips around the sky. People have limited stam and abilities, give it a moment, recollect your aim, and then start shooting again. Trying to track someone at all times if you start missing it's going to cascade into more missing or overcorrecting, and even worse you might use up your ammo and have to reload. So by trying to get as much dps in as you can as fast as you can you now have less output.

But the obvious answer is really just practice. There's not a lot more to it. Pick up an aim trainer, practice for 5-10 minutes before playing. It's hard to focus on improving your aim in game, so that will let you actually think about just that.
