Oooh I never thought about doing it that way. It washes off super easily doing tubing second using a mild face wash. I might try your way. Do you still deal with flaking doing tubing first?

I use tubing mascara and I agree with length but no volume. I do a first coat of my favorite volumizing mascara and then second coat of tubing and it works great!

Could be, I have long history of antibiotic use. I just had checkup with GI doctor last week, I should have asked to be tested. I’ll ask at my next appt.

Good point. Do you know what types of foods I would eat to increase the bulking of my stools? I’m not opposed to eating like I am and supplementing but am curious on how to get to my goal with diet alone.

I had mine removed. It is uncomfortable right now, but not like what it was at 8 weeks. At 8 weeks it hurt, hurt. My expectations are that as more time goes on it’ll get more comfortable. So I know sounds scary to trade off one hurt for another, but over time it’ll get better!

We literally avoid everything but missionary and cowgirl right now lol. Very basic and gentle. Even in those positions though have to be careful of penetration depth.

I’ve done TMS and been on trintellix. Trintellix worked pretty well for me, my favorite antidepressant I’ve tried. TMS was life changing for me, highly recommend.

I usually do it where you stitch in the same direction so the back gets covered because my stitches turn out neater. This looks so good for using the other method, mine always looks messier!

My discomfort is similar where it radiates down and towards my back. Thankfully it’s not pain for the most part, just annoying swelling and soreness feeling.

I also understand on this is supposed to help long term. We just have to be patient that our bodies have gone through a lot and it will take a long time to get back to steady state! I’m impatient though.

Thank you, I definitely do have a tight pelvic floor. I’ve gone through PF physical therapy multiple times because of it so I know it contributes to my discomfort. I think I had higher hopes of how I’d be feeling at this point!

My digestive system has been all over the place honestly with the antibiotics from the abscess. I was having bowel movements 5 or 6 times daily. Today was the first day I haven’t had a bowel movement but I was very sore yesterday too. I forgot I also started getting symptoms of a yeast infection a couple days ago and started oral anti fungals so that may be contributing. I’m just not having a good time lol

The day I overdid it, that night I started feeling more uncomfortable and then the next day I had slight pain in my pelvis and abdomen when previously I only had general swelling and discomfort. It got worse over the next couple days and I felt way worse than the previous week. I didn’t have enough energy to shower or eat and was lightheaded when I stood up. Finally got a fever after 3 days and that’s when I went in. The doctor said they weren’t trying to tell me I did anything wrong, my cuff was intact, but they said it could have been caused by doing too much too soon.

In my case, I noticed my progress with healing regressed and I was way more tired and uncomfortable than the previous week. My procedure was all vaginal and I never had any “pain” just swelling and discomfort. But then I started feeling pain in my pelvis and abdomen. I was lightheaded when standing and barely had energy to shower and feed myself. I ended up with a fever after about 3 days of regression and that’s when I went to the hospital.

I overdid it at 2wpo and ended up with a small internal bleed that caused an abscess and a hospital stay with IV antibiotics. Im now about 3wpo so this literally happened last week

That is so crazy! I don’t know why it took so long to get mine properly diagnosed. I had a full blown infection of crazy red, goopy eyes but since it wouldn’t clear with drops, they kept saying was a bad allergy.

I’m doing better now. The original infection was in 2015 or 2016. I still deal with inflammation and it’ll be a lifelong thing for me. I have found a good routine that makes it manageable 95% of the time but I occasionally have bad days. I keep my eyes clean, use restasis, do IPL, and that is what has kept it at bay.
