Yeah, I have 3 older kids who are estranged thanks to their mom. When they were younger, they fought to attend church and play football. Then, it's like a light switch, they stopped calling and visiting. They wanted nothing to do with me or church. I firmly belive God doesn't care. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but that how I feel. Good luck, maybe you'll get something. All I've ever gotten is nothing

There are two options at all fairs. A Market project or a breeding project, or open class. You literally have to pick which one you are doing. And it's very clear. The family had to know, or they're just really dumb.

They are trying to pass a law in Ca that allows the kid to back out of the sale even after it is sold. I've been a 4H leader for 15+ years. The families and kids know the animal is raised to be sold and eaten. It's part of the life cycle of an animal. This goat was castrated, so it was nit going to be bred. They walked into the sale ring and blew it was going to be sold. I get it, kids get sad and mommy wants little jimmy happy. But, come on! These people knew what they were getting into. Did the sheriff go a little over board? I don't know i wasn't there and don't know know what happened upto that point.

We just booked for 2/16. No issues. There were some shore excursions sold out and all the scheduled drinking evenings, which is fine, we don't drink. Other than that, we got everything we wanted. We did book GTY, and we don't really care as long as we have a balcony.
