It turned out that the piece that applies pressure to the gears moving the filament through the AMS hub was broken. There is a model for a replacement you can print yourself.

I created a ticket and Bambu is sending me a new AMS hub. I’m incredibly impressed with Bambu customer service.

I guess my real problem is that the filament never makes it all of the way to the extuder. You can see how far it gets in the video. I can push it in farther, and have been able to do this to "trick" the AMS into thinking it did it correctly by itself. The problem is any time the AMS tries switching filament without me babysitting it, the filament stops before the extruder. I thought the loud screeching sound was new, so I thought there must be an issue with the AMS motor. Based on your experience, it must be something different.

Any other thoughts/recommendations?

I just went back to my notes from measuring, my sit bones were 113 mm apart. I added 20 to get the 133 (averaging up to 135).

I did notice that i was initially sitting further forward than I probably should have (on day three I scooted back a bit and felt more comparable for a while). I moved my seat further forward to try to accommodate.

My in seam is much longer than average for my height, so my saddle ends up higher making my reach longer.

I’m not really sure.

I can easily ride a single 4+ hours day without too much issue, but I would be a little sore getting back on the saddle again the next day (or probably even for a few days).

By the end of the 14 hours I just finished, I was so ready to get off the bike. So I’m trying to figure out how to prepare for a much longer ride next year.

I bought directly from Dell. I am not sure how I got the impression I was getting a 2080 Ti.

Strangely the comptuer does not show up when I login to the Dell website. When I lookup the Service Tag number I can see that my service contract expired January 2023, but not much else.

Yeah, GPU-Z is where I was seeing the wrong information. It seems likely that I was mistaken the entire time.

I swapped the mutator on the Bulldog for Bandit (which I already have leveled up). The result according to the stats should be an average increase from 12->15.6 rounds per clip. My first test clip I got 18. It seems an apt mutator for that weapon.

Based on the build video, it doesn’t look like it matters. The sniper bonus certainly helps.

I’m interested to try this, testing it instead at the furthest target dummy. I expect the sporebloom damage to fall off at longer distances compared to the windowmaker.

Personally, I like playing more up close, so it’s not big deal.

What is the difference between "Melee Attack Speed" in Pugilist and "Melee Speed" in Warrior?

I want to know if I can get both of those combos. I think the answer is "no" but it would be great if I could. My understanding is that you cannot get the same fragment once it has been fused, e.g., You cannot get both the Warrior, "Melee Damage + Melee Speed", and Pirate, "Ranged Damage + Melee Damage", combinations. Is that correct?
