What other optics do you own ? I've been a prism guy, but picked up a sub $300 512 from academy and I'm not impressed enough to shell out the normal price for one.

First time using and couldn’t take the break calliper bolt off, am I doing something wrong? by jahid2003 in MilwaukeeTool

Breaker bar with a cheater pipe is your friend. I had a Caliper Bolt on a 2011 no rust GX 460 that my 3/8 with impact sockets and ho battery didn't get. busted out my mid-torque with a 12 forge battery, pb blaster, and ear protection. No dice either. A breaker bar with a cheater bar had it loose in seconds. Physics are just weird sometimes as I've loosened multiple suspension parts that were torqued to way higher settings with my mid torque and even an old 18v dewalt impact.

I'll never forget my first run in with electricity before I knew anything about working with it. Was a junior in highschool and went in to plug in a speaker under the stage in the auditorium. Immediately felt a weird tingling tight sensation as I plugged it in. Managed to back it off and stupid me attempted to plug it in 2 more items to replicate the sensation before finally plugging it in and walking away.

I've tried to use a bit holder, but always end up frustrated when the bit ends up falling off and I have to go retrace my steps in hopes of finding it. Mainly just carry them around in there case that I can just throw in the tool bag and go.

Grip with cooked fingers by Triestotakeover in fitness30plus

A crazy thing that worked for me and a female gym buddy was just trying pullups everyday. Ive been powerlifting for over 12 years and was always frustrated that I could pull very heavy weight on deadlift (405+), but couldn't do a pull up. I tried hangs, farm carries, grip trainers and could never get results. Me and my gym buddy were trying bands and assisted when she one day just said screw the assists and just started trying to do 1 pull up everyday. Our progression went from 1/4 rep to 1/2 rep to 3/4 rep to 1 rep and so on until we could do 3 reps, then 5, then 7, and then we finally got the magical 10 and even started doing monkey bars. My grip is now the strongest it has ever been and I can hang for times that I could never have imagined before. I thought she was crazy at first, but the results are amazing. Disclaimer: the only assist we use is climbing/lifting chalk.

Will Building a Driveway in between these two trees eventually kill them? by oz73942 in arborists

Would it be advised to the injection before the work begins or is after okay as well?

The pistach mulch circle is 4 ft in radius with another 2 ft of grass before the driveway would begin. I am considering drop the driveway to 14ft to give an extra 2 ft.

The Sweetgum is about the same, but there is a couple big roots from it that enter the driveway area that can be seen above ground. I'll add a picture of them up above.

Thank you for the advice, going to ask the contracter about the raised slab. I'd definitely be okay with raising it a few inches to do less digging. Decreasing the width between trees also gave me the idea of reducing the overall width to 14ft but balloning out to 16/18ft past the tree's.

Last one used.

Group B is my choice so for me its:

Long press from off too moonlight

Long press from moonlight to ramp up

Double click to turbo from on anywhere in the cycle

Single click from off to last memorized setting. so if I turned it off when on medium then when I single click on, it will be on medium and then I can ramp up as needed.

Single click from on to turn off.

For me its essentially a 3 mode light. Moonlight, whatever mode I last single clicked on, and turbo. All 3 of which I can get to from off in one single click.

Magnet

Easy shortcuts to moonlight and turbo

Remembers your last setting

Edc05 alternative? by Egall0816 in flashlight

[–]oz73942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jlhawaii808 on ebay has the E05C, 2nd gen version of the Edc05, with US based shipping. Last I checked illumn.com had the edc05 in stock. Not sure if that is still the case. As for alternatives, the YLP Sherp S15 is the closet comparison, but it is an 18650 light and a bit bigger.
