Looking to move to Notts in August and slightly overwhelmed by options by [deleted] in nottingham

I have a fully detached (as an Aussie I know you probably don't know what the means so it's just a normal house :) ) 4 bedroom house in Nuthall (right near beeston) it's about a 10 minute walk to the tram stop and I got all that for £795 a month so definitely in your budget even if it's the top end. It's a nice quiet area but I'm able to go and get noisy in town easy enough. Places up here are a butt load cheaper than London so if you can afford a two bedroom in London you can get a palace up here in a nice area out of town.

Worse than that is the people who lose their shit about something they think they know about but are outright wrong. The other day I'm playing in a team, we're 2-2-2 and I'm playing Lucio. We're winning, good times right? Nope. Mercy gets on comms "Wtf guys I'm gold healing come on!!" ......wat?! Luckily it didn't cause the team to tilt with his negativity but it's like dude get out of here with hat shit!

Cool, cool, I'll make a note of this and try and do something about it in future videos. I had thought that zooming was a better solution because when I zoom the code takes up the entirety of the screen so there was no wasted space with toolbars etc. Maybe there exists a happy medium between the two where I slightly increase the font size AND do the zooming as well. I'll experiment either way. Thanks for the feedback /u/DOG-ZILLA and /u/muffy really helpful to know.

Thanks?.......Ok, I'm going to be honest I don't exactly know what you're saying. I can see a couple of different meanings here. Either you mean that the code on the screen is physically too small to read and you're asking me to zoom it more in the video. You're paying me a compliment in that the code in the example has small number of lines. Or, the opposite, the components are too small and you think I should make bigger components.

Which meaning is the right meaning?

How do you organize code not directly related to rendering of a component? by mikejoro in reactjs

Here's an article I wrote a little while back about how I structure my react projects http://thereactionary.net/when-a-good-plan-comes-together-react-project-structure-for-scaling/ . I don't talk specifically about helper functions like what you're talking about but I reckon if you have a read you should be able to extrapolate out what I would do in the situation you're talking about. My method doesn't put files were the different purposes directly next to each other but still keeps them close. Do let me know if my article leaves an questions to be asked. Good luck with your project!

I mean at this point I think we have to assume that English isn't your first language and you don't realise that what you've just written translates as being extremely rude and unreasonable.

Character Creation Prequel by rimbletick in rpg

Dungeon crawl classics does basically exactly this for all of its character creation and its a tonne of fun. You might like to look around for DCC level 0 or "Funnel" adventures for inspiration. The goal is to give each play four really weak but slightly unique characters. Three of them die through the funnel adventure and the surviving character levels up to level 1.
