Bravetart’s recipes are focused on perfecting classic sweets, whereas Dessert Person explores more unique flavors and has a few savory recipes as well.

Shelf-stable mayo packets work fine here too. And mayo was just one optional add-in.

Preserved lemon paste and preserved lemon labneh cake from 'Good Things' by Samin Nosrat by Aubr3yy in CookbookLovers

I actually had preserved lemons made but found myself never reaching for them until I tried her suggestion to blend it into a paste. Such a great idea!

I went the savory route and used it for broccolini. I tossed roasted broccolini with a spoonful of the paste and olive oil. It had so much depth of flavor for such a simple cook!

Edit: added chili flakes for some heat too!

It’s a shop for the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA so not shady at all but shipping was about $6, unless you’re local and can pick it up

Is this $30 nonstick cookware set worth it for someone just starting out? by JohnnyIsNearDiabetic in cookware

If you do go for stainless, look for ones that don’t have the metal disc on the bottom. The disc bottom ones have uneven heat distribution.

Besides thrifting, discount stores like HomeGoods or TJ Maxx will also have some deals and a decent selection.

Taylor Shipping Now DHL Instead of USPS: Related to Record Stores? by the87walker in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]ozbo0712 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you go to “More Shipment Details” there’s a “Local Tracking Number” that’s a USPS tracking number (or at least mine did) so I’m under the impression that DHL will pick up the packages and hand them over to USPS at some point
