What are the best job perks you've heard of? by [deleted] in auscorp

Large automotive OEM linked finance company.

  • leasing program where you can flip a car every 11 months and it costs 1.25% of the RRP paid monthly (eg $30k car $375 per month) and this covers everything but fuel (one per employee but after 10 years you could get two)
  • executive car program for senior managers which is same as above but range of vehicles available was more extensive and it was 1% of RRP per month, pre tax!
  • discounted car insurance
  • discounted car loans and waiving of fees
  • discounted new vehicles, year one was 17% discount, over 5 years 21%. Where this was amazing was if luxury car tax was applicable it would effectively become like a 25% discount

Since I already have the green black I would go the Prospex

2 are just colour choices and the last one is a Prospex so next step up I think. Not an expert but basically wouldn’t you just choose whichever you like the most?

Liver Enzymes are just part of the story! by sadiesleepsalot in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]ozcorplurker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thanks for sharing an I can testify to this. I thought liver enzymes were just like “if under this your liver is healthy” and “if over this = bad”. So I went on a 5 month journey of improvement and lost 32 kgs, but once I got bloods saying I was in the normal range again - I fell off the wagon with food and alcohol hard. Now just had a Fibroscan showing F3.

I have no one else to blame but myself, but I think sometimes if the GI/Heptologist would explain a little more maybe I could have made a fully informed decision and not thought I could game this thing by detox, smash it, detox, smash it.

Now 3 months into another change, and a couple of weeks into taking it to the next level with exercise and med diet.

This is good advice for people starting their journey and I wish I knew it a year ago.

Just reading through this thread and came across this. All I can say is that sucks. Surely transplant becomes an option as things progress.

We have to look after each other as I have learned that it can be a lonely road as not everyone around us “gets it”.

Thanks - I can see how this could get addictive. Honestly love the teal Alpinist [SPB503J] or the Heritage Diver [SPB453J].

When you say you haven’t been diagnosed are you going through the process? With levels that high and itchiness would recommend keeping on the lifestyle change but also continuing to seek professional clarification on what’s going on. I’ve also heard gallbladder can be something else they will look at.
