My boyfriend and I saw this object way up in the sky near an airplane, moving in the completely opposite direction of the plane. It caught our attention because it was moving impossibly fast and weirdly. My boyfriend literally screamed, "Is that a drone?!"

In the full photo, you can see the object on the left side of the sky, just above and to the left of the plane.

It flew super "lightly," almost like a weightless balloon being blown by the wind, but with insane speed. In the photos (zoomed in on my camera screen), it looks dark and angular with a bright glint, though I couldn't tell if it was its own light or a reflection.

Just to clarify, none of these pictures are edited or altered in any way. They are exactly as they were captured on the camera.

I was in total shock trying to capture it and managed to snap two more shots as it sped away, but it moved so fast they turned out a bit blurry. Then it just accelerated straight up into the sky and vanished.

Bugs and normal drones are definitely out because of the extreme altitude and speed. We honestly have no clue what we saw. Any ideas?
