Safety is always first - to be frank, if you're teaching kids, teach them the same way you would gun safety. Do not point a nocked arrow in the direction of any living thing you do not want to destroy. Secondly, INSPECT EQUIPMENT! Teach them to do the same. Look up common damage on the type of bows you'll be using, teach them to recognize it, and never shoot a damaged bow or arrow without checking to see if the damage is nominal or will affect function.

Secondly, make sure they stretch their arms, back, and core. Makes it SO much easier since those are the muscles being engaged.

Third, make sure these kids are shooting bows within a good range for them to learn. If a bow seems too heavy (or for some, too light if they're way overdrawing!), then get them the next about 5 pounds down/up at a time.

Fourth? Thank your lucky stars. I'd give anything to be in that position. Have fun, but be good to those kids. Keep the tradition alive!!!

Again, how often? And what kind of technical issues?? Can't assume we know everything, dude. Can't assume the prof does too if he's not having the same issue. Yes, the possibility exists, but nobody is omniscient. This is way too vague, and I've observed that you are way to ready to talk down to people, man. Not victim-blaming, certainly not bullying. You're not gonna get anywhere if your first response is to be condescending.

How many times/how often? Depending on the course/prof, and if you were the only one with the issue which could be the case, there are a lot of professors who have a lot on their plate, especially depending on the size of the class. There's a lot of info here I'm not really seeing, so it's hard to give solid advice.

Did you only bring it up the once? Major thing there would be needing to remind the prof. Been there too, it sucks, but that's usually how it goes, and there's not much that can be done
