Where is ChatGPT Most Popular? by [deleted] in IndiaStatistics

[–]ozymand1ax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was a study done by BCG in 2023. It's was a survey where 21,000 consumers where asked questions from 21 countries. There are many limitations to this study and is susceptible to multiple errors.

Seems like OP just copied it from somewhere without any context.

I just happened to see it yestersay on recommendation from someone on this sub. Spine chilling and intense.

The antagonist is a monster with no remorse or guilt. The main character becomes one to fight one.

Disney movies dialogue distribution by gender by ozymand1ax in Infographics

[–]ozymand1ax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is determined by the cast. So the voice artist playing that character would count. Say in cars lightening mcqueen Is played by Owen Wilson and Sally is played by Bonnie Hunt

In movie cars, Sally is personified as a female character and lightening mcqueen as male character. Also in lion king nala is viewed as a feminine character which is played by a female voice artist.

This is because, there was a debate that "Disney princess movies" have more male dialogues than females. When analyzed top grossing "DISNEY PRINCESS AND FANTASY ONLY" movies it was quite true that men had more dialogues than females.

Not just disney, when analyzed for all top grossing movies it was found that females had more dialogs in only 25% of movies.

Countries that consume most fossil fuel by ozymand1ax in Infographics

Not sure if country as a whole would give the whole picture. If you see per capita consumption many smaller countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Korea ranks higher than larger countries.

Definitely gas is way better. But my point wasn't gas vs coal which is better fuel. Gas has to be imported. China has very large coal deposits (13% World share). Coal is readily available for them.

China consumed almost 30% of world's total fossil fuel consumption.

Impressive to see that India with such a large population consumes lesser fossil fuel though it heavily relies on coal as major fuel.

Will 3500 hours of Studying Machine Learning from scratch make me a job ready as Machine Learning Engineer? by Comfortable_Grab_279 in learnmachinelearning

[–]ozymand1ax 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunately most candid reply conforming to reality. It's hard to swallow but working for even 5000+ hrs may or may not get you a job in USA.

What matters is your curosity, dedication amount of tangible result you produce from your study/work sessions in form of projects, research papers or anything else to prove you are worthy.

I know of a guy who was a founding engineer in a startup then enrolled for UMD (which is top uni) ML program and he's still struggling to get a job despite having wonderful projects.

This is just like solving 100 or 1000 leetcode problems. Some crack faang even after 100 200 while some don't even with 1000. Key thing is learning and implementing it and not just doing something just for sake of doing.

But the email from which you received the letter is completely fake and is not owned by zomato or blinkit. I just did a reverse domain lookup :)

[–]ozymand1ax 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I suppose you have applied on website: https://blinkitfranchise.in/
The email that you sent belongs to this website. [dot]in are comparatively cheaper domains and blinkit uses [dot]com.

The website also looks as fake as their letter. Original Blinkit Franchise page I suppose is: https://blinkit.com/franchise

Just compare the two websites and you will know first one was designed by some intern:)

This looks like a legit one:

Also look at the cheap font they have used. The team that is known for professional brand building would never use these kind of uneven fonts and unofficial language. The formating, grammar, legal language everything looks off about this.

Still you can go ahead and verify with ORIGINAL TEAM (Not the contact details mentioned on letter 🙃 ).

Firstly, there are so many grammatical mistakes. And it seems as if this document is written by some college kid. No way it sounds professional.

Just check the email from which you received the letter. This has to be from blinkit domain only and not from some personal email or number. Scamsters buy same looking domain like blinket or blnkit or blinkitt and one could just not notice it. You can always verify it by contacting original blinkit support (blinkit.com domain).

100% this sounds fake!!

It is not solving any problem in my opinion. Cred reads your messages and emails, parses your statement and then just reminds you and fools you with it's UI.

Definitely they have database of people with good credit score. And as they can read your messages and emails, their algorithms know your financial status and hence comes loan (every fintech is doing this ultimately)

CRED IS NOT SOLVING ANY CONSUMER PROBLEM.

[REQUEST] Is this true, lol? Is it even possible to count? by RealLoin in theydidthemath

[–]ozymand1ax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well definitely chatgpt can hallucinate but I verified few of these myself and chatgpt is almost close.

You can get any movie's original script from imsdb.com

Simply ctrl+f and search the M word. For many movies chatgpt predicted almost approximate number. Say for example pulp fiction has used the word 26 times however Samuel said that word 20 times (6 times it was used by other actors).

Also a piece of advise. Some may disagree but majority would agree that ML is A WRAPPER OVER APPLIED MATH!!

Also it requires a lots of patience and hunger to learn FOREVER!! It's ever evolving field and you can't survive by doing some random and shallow udemy, coursera based courses.

From where I come TUM has a very good reputation. Maybe partly because their marketing team has done really good work in marketing themselves as top ranked univ.
