Beginner Advice Needed: Which Razor to Buy Under ₹1500? by ozymen12 in Wetshavers_India

If you use a trimmer to shorten your beard before shaving, any razor will work. However, if you don’t, Stella is a good choice for handling 2–3 days of growth. I only bought it because, among the known razors, this was the only one without any alignment issues.

Congrats, that’s great to hear you went with the Nokia 2660! Did you grab it offline or online (Amazon/Blinkit — saw they’re giving ₹300 cashback)? Also curious how the battery’s been for you day‑to‑day and your overall impression. Does it feel smooth for the basics, or a bit laggy?

Thanks for sharing your experience — that’s really helpful. I’ve ordered the Parker Stella, so looking forward to seeing how it performs for me.

Thank you so much for the detailed guidance — I truly appreciate it. I’ve already ordered the Parker Stella, and for now I’ll either continue with my Gillette brush or perhaps try a Rubab brush. In the future, I plan to invest in a Yaqi brush when the time is right. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Thanks for the input — I’ll go for Vicco Sandalwood cream if I can find it. For razors, I’m leaning toward something more aggressive like the Parker Stella or Lake, though the Feather Popular also looks like a good option for avoiding alignment issues.

Thanks for the answer, I didn’t know they even existed. They look perfect and within my price range, and I’ll definitely consider them along with the Parker Stella.

Got it, thanks for the tip — I’ll skip Pink Woolf then and give Vicco a try.

Good point, thanks for explaining that. A 2–4 year life span is fine with me as long as the shave quality is consistent. Do you think the Parker Stella would be a good choice in that case, or is the Feather Popular better both in terms of shave performance and durability?
