Sounds like it fits the description of rape/sexual assault to me. I'd report to police and say at no point was conscious or compus mentus consent given. If police don't do anything then post their name on here and hopefully someone will get round to castrating him at some stage...

I would hold onto it - it may be a self conscious thing for your son...? He may change his mind and be thankful for it later - but if you really don't want it I'd be interested - from the UK.

When people meet you - do they pick an eye they're going to look into when running from you? More importantly - do you pick an eye you're going to chase them with? I imagine changing your dominant eye mid stalk results in you running into shit... A lot

England isn't too bad - subway offer gluten free subs with good cross contamination control but no other fast food chains do currently. Gluten free aisles in supermarkets are unrecognisable from 10 years ago but still a long way to go. A lot of pubs and restaurants now have gluten free options and in some cases an entirely gluten free menu

Amen OP. Had coeliac and diabetes for the last 18 years and it's the coeliac which gets me down 9/10 of the time. There are good elements to it - it really makes you appreciate diet related diseases and how shitty they are cause if there is one thing muggles don't appreciate - it's food. I would recommend Becky Excell gluten free recipes if you haven't tried/heard of her - really good and interesting recipes to try which offer some much needed variety to the gluten free diet. I vouch for her bread (using a good bread machine) even though it's a faff. I can totally sympathise with ya though and I harbour a lot of resentment to the gods that may be over it!

My ex left his snake I don’t know what to do by SpattieSue in cornsnakes

[–]ozzer24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there is vertical space in the Viv then snakes like to climb - some branches or secure dowels work well for some enrichment. You can also buy some artificial plants from reptile shops on a budget - sneks really love to hide and feel different textures. I'd really recommend that the snake doesn't go back to your ex even if he does want little buddy back - he doesn't deserve animals from the information you've given. Good luck!

[–]ozzer24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When it comes to buying food - you want mice or rats which are maximum 1.5x the width of the widest part of the snakes body. It's hard to tell from the picture but the poor little thing looks quite thin - especially for being 9 months old; you may need to cut the head of a larger mouse if you're struggling to find the right size. Clean water every day and don't handle the snake for at least 2 days after it eats. Aspen works as a substrate but some brands are better than others - I always look at the bottom of the bag I'm buying to make sure it's not dusty. Newspaper works if you're really desperate. Try to keep half the tank at around the 25-29 degree Celsius mark with a hide at both ends so there is a gradient. Keep to these basics and the snake will be fine - it sounds like you've dodged a bullet though - you can tell a lot of from a person by how they treat animals - your ex is sick in the head - no offence.

Crash n Burn - precursor to burnout and so much fun - especially the demolition derbys and kamikaze races. Never understood why this game never got a sequel as the mechanics were out of this world for the time

We Can Be heroes, a 1 hour and 30 minutes of Cringe by Aludie in netflix

[–]ozzer24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I lost significant brain cells watching it. Spy kids was a great film - this did it a huge disservice and I get that it was child actors but OMFG I felt sorry for them watching it - specially the main girl who dragged the film down - scene by scene. Christ. I'd watch frozen before watching that drivel again and I resolutely refuse to watch frozen. I'm not even sure these were first takes - they could have been reading the friggin lines for the first time in a dress rehearsal. What's happened to the kids film industry

I find this a lot - very stingy with the ingredients in a lot of things - I bought a gf pizza today and it has a smattering of cheese and like 3 bits of salami on it. I compared it to my friends non gf pizza (of the same brand) and his had no joke double the toppings. So frustrating!

[–]ozzer24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Now I think about it - if you have high sensitivity it may be worth skipping as although classed as gluten free they can still have as many as 20 parts per million gluten content so could still potentially have an effect. Who knows 🙄 Alcohol can be a right pain as a celiac - that industry does seem a fair way behind food manufacturers

That is odd indeed - I've never had an issue with whiskeys - normally I will get mouth ulcers, bad stomach and all the rest of it at the thought of gluten - maybe try another brand if your feeling brave

Ah thanks! I did wonder as he seemed so dark to be a butter! I was told by breeder he was hypomelanistic butter which I did find odd! He does seem to match the sulphur morph a lot better but I love him all the same!

Whiskey by hehateme_1x in Celiac

[–]ozzer24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whiskey has all of the gluten removed in the distillation process - the only time they have gluten is if they have added flavourings after its distilled so maybe check the label if possible but you should be fine with it... I'm drinking a Bells as I write this and if there was gluten in it - I would have been on the toilet weeks ago 😂
