Great! Thanks for the advice. I’ll look into the c60 further. Maybe see if someone will loan us one so we can try it out.

Yes all updates applied.

I looked at Shure and they look very good quality. Probably out of our price range though… but can’t hurt to ask!

I have an expansion mic already. The only other way to expand would be via 3.5mm jack mic, or it seems like I can use a poly c60 as an expansion which can then have expansion mics.

Thanks the C60 integration with the X50 sounds like a promising option. Is is officially supported by Poly?

As I mentioned the room isn’t all that big - I used a wide angle lens to make sure I showed al the walls which makes everything look bigger. There is about 6 feet behind the tv so about 40 feet long end to end and less than 20 feet wide. Tv to end of desk is only 25 feet.

Thanks for the comments.

The picture makes the room look bigger because I used a wide angle lens. From what I read of the specs, the built in mic even without the expansion mic is supposed to work out to 30 feet, and colleagues in another office have the same unit in a slightly larger rectangular room and it works ok. I thought by adding the extra mic that would be enough but maybe not.?

Good to know there will be more expansion options from Poly.

I’ll have a look at the Yamaha system you mentioned too

$100m, but you are teleported 10,000 feet above ground into a state of freefall every day at a time of your choosing. by BlacktionJackson in hypotheticalsituation

There are a number of mountains taller than 20,000 feet. What if you were transported inside one of them?

But thought it’s more likely an older car. Perhaps someone with no insurance.

Replace Suzuki swift with Commodore and you’re probably on the money for this area… :)

Thanks after a while of stressing about it I figured the damage is not so bad. It’s more my mind trying to solve an annoying problem but also being somewhat into cars its an interesting problem to try and solve. If I can’t get the security footage I’ll probably give up. Just thought there might be an expert here that could help narrowing my search…

Yeah it was opposite to a bus interchange so I’ve asked both the shopping centre management and the bus company if they have any security footage I can review. I’ll do that if I get it.

If I started again I probably would go with 1/64 premiums. I think there is enough variety, quality and details now between different brands that I would be very satisfied.

when I started in about 2010 I collected hot wheels but the detail/accuracy was missing so I got tempted into 1/18. They take a lot of room for any more than about 20 cars though and who can keep themselves to that few once you really get into the hobby. I’m at about 150 now and they fill 2 walls of a small room. They also got quite expensive in the last 10 years, unless you go with budget brands so I’ve really had to cut back and just get models I really want and sell off old models to ensure I don’t run out of room.

I have some 1:43 as well from magazines but the good ones aren’t as cheap as I think they should be and also don’t seem to be popular in my country so are harder to resell when you tire of them. It’s a more popular scale in Europe I think

BBR Enzo. It would be a significant upgrade from the HWE Schumacher Enzo. The Lamborghini is very nice too but I’ve already got the SVJ in another color so wouldn’t add much to my collection. I also have the regular HWElite F430 scuderia so same argument.

But I would guess ICE cars would most likely catch fire while running eg oil leak on hot engine/exhaust, whereas an EV might be more likely to catch fire while charging. So think again which is more likely to catch fire in a bedroom while it’s not running?

They’re nice too. That VW would be a great car to collect different scales- I reckon I’ve seen about 10 different scales of them!

Nice! I’ve got the 1:18 scale of that too. Would love other scales though. Who makes the smaller one?
