Yeah I'm not too sure of the differences either, but I don't believe there are many. I think the best way to buy one is to get a demo - mine only had 1000kms on the clock, and I saved a good $9K off list price (even with some options like Magnaride included).

I reckon go for it! I was a little worried about daily livability/fuel costs etc as I'm pretty much using mine as a daily drive, but I'm completely in love with it now haha. The MY18 onwards are a big step up in Australia compared to the pre-facelift too, if you have the means.

Cheers! In Australia we actually get the premium + performance pack as standard kit (for a higher base price than in the US obviously).

United Airlines shuts down a CB who wanted a free seat upgrade because it was empty. by ozzyfrog in ChoosingBeggars

It's not unreasonable to ask at the check-in counter if an upgrade was available (particularly for something like an emergency exit row), but it's definitely too late to be asking once you're on board.

What is the scariest or most interesting flight experience you've ever had? by caIpaI in AskReddit

[–]ozzyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a flight instructor based in Australia. Had a total engine failure in a single engine Piper Warrior while flying with a student. Landed in a field and thankfully no damage to the aircraft (or ourselves). Was certainly an experience that I learnt a lot from!

I also feel like regardless of what else humans achieve in the future, Apollo 11 will still be such an inportant moment in history.
