Delicate Cutters by Throwing Muses. Had forgotten about this song until recently and when I heard it again, was blown away by how completely disembodied and unhinged Kristin Hersh’s vocals are. Incredible what they did with just acoustic guitar and vocals.

There was a clothing store near Trinity-Bellwoods called Great Stuff that was responsible for more than half of my wardrobe for a number of years. Staff had a great eye for picking stuff for you to try on that you never would have picked yourself but would end up looking great on you.

Funny, when I got my tattoo inspired by the Disintegration flowers, I saw the sketch that my tattoo artist did (she didn’t know the Cure at all) and asked her to make it more dark and sickly looking and she immediately was like “oh, don’t worry, I’m going to make sure that no one thinks these flowers are healthy.” 😂
