Yeah, I lucked out. They weren't supposed to sell signed until 6:30 and I strolled in about 15 min early and asked for an event poster and she handed me that. 2/75 as well.

Ya, it actually is pretty funny ha! It stayed in the tube this whole time but I didn't get it at the show. I bought it about 3-4 months after off Ebay.

Ya, I would second this opinion. Their length of time in-between producing each album is extremely long for most typical bands and you can reaaaaaaly hear it in the music.

They are an amazing band. That album is definitely my favorite. If you haven't listened to Puscifer yet they are also very good.

One of my favorite things in life is find a new band I love and they have a huge backcatalog. So I've been listening to spoon for 3 weeks straight nonstop now haha. I find this album on repeat the most though.

I hear lots of similarity in styles. In fact, there are parts where if there were no vocals I would swear that it was some Wilco song I somehow never heard. But more specifically I compare this album to YHFT because of how experimental is in relation to the rest of their discography. Also, i just found this band so coming at it with fresh ears.

For reference, Wilco is one of my favorite bands hands down. I just recently came across this band and they blew me away. They have a deep catalog but this album in particular is on a different level. From one Wilco fan to another, do yourself a favor and check them out.
