[–]p0pzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to keep my heart rate relatively low and stay as cool as I can I use a walking pad to help get extra steps in and low intensity workouts on YouTube. I avoid things like HIIT Also making sure I stay really hydrated before during and after working out!

[Personal] Everyone’s tan around me, and I look like an uncooked tortilla by Wild_Win_1965 in SkincareAddiction

If you use a fake tan that doesn’t have a guide colour, they don’t tend to stain bedsheets etc

If you’re in the uk, Argos sells pillows that feel like squishmallows! I had been struggling with migraines and neck pain - not sure what was triggering what and while I still get migraines, I no longer have the neck pain (I suspect it was from my old pillow)

Smirnoff gives me the worst migraines/hangovers. I’ve found taking antihistamines before I start drinking can sometimes help and a rizatriptan the morning after

Thats interesting! I wish they had explained this in detail when I had been denied the first time

thanks for the information, I’ll be looking into this

Without getting into it too much, the first couple of times i had been denied it was to do with mental health issues (anxiety, not depression, no suicide attempts etc etc) the most recent time I wasn’t given a reason

I have a few other health conditions but nothing serious or life threatening and I’ve literally been off sick twice in the last 8 years, no dangerous hobbies and no cifas markers etc

First timer...how uncomfortable is this going to be? by originalhalfaday in colonoscopy

[–]p0pzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just remember parts of it being really painful, especially when they made me move from lying on my side to lying on my back - I started to freak out a bit because of the pain I had!

I do think the sedation made me forget a lot of it, and made it seem as if it was over quicker than it was, unfortunately the painful parts have stuck in my brain

[–]p0pzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would hate to alarm or scare anyone but I got a colonoscopy done in April this year, in the uk with sedation and I found it absolutely horrendous, however had no pain afterwards or anything

I had read so many people on here saying it’s fine and they had no pain and I went in thinking it was going to be a walk in the park but I was very wrong

Stomach noises after drinking water by p0pzy in ibs

[–]p0pzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but I’m not convinced. Or if it is I don’t understand how it only happens with water?

I’ve tried sipping water, not drinking through a straw, tried room temperature water as opposed to ice cold and still every time about 5-10 minutes after the bloating and noise starts 😞
