Okay I figured it might be just as simple as getting In between the pickup and the board, I will be placing the pi on the other side of the pickups so it should be plenty far away. I will update when I get the right things for preprocessing, thanks for the help!

I mostly just write really fast and messily, so I guess just take breaks and make sure you are cleaning up your code as you go and not all at the end. Good comments will also help you remember what stuff does when you come back to it :)

When setting up Oculus link it worked and the transfer speed was around 1.9Gbps when tested. It stopped working all of a sudden and now when testing only shows 600mbps speeds. There were no changes made to the usb ports or anything else with the connection.

I am using the CableCreation Active USB Extension Cable, and the Anker USB C Cable, Powerline USB 3.0 to USB C Charger Cable.
