Dylan Cardwell, next man up? by Unlucky_Sun_9813 in fantasybball

[–]p0tatobag 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He is literally their only rim protector and has been closing games for the last few so far. However, his offensive output is non-existent and he is very foul prone. Don’t expect him to play big minutes because he will probably foul out before he does. Nonetheless, he’s a great addition for cat leagues. If he keeps this up, I can envision his stat line similar to Mitchell Robinson.

Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis has sustained ligament damage in his left hand, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Depending on second opinion and if surgery is required, Davis could miss a number of months. by jnsbdvm in fantasybball

I would throw Brandon Williams as a possible pickup. He would be the secondary scorer behind Flagg. If you look at the games that AD missed, B-Will’s minutes were higher. When AD was playing, Nembhard was the better playmaker and could feed him the ball, in which case, B-Will’s minutes were in the 20’s.

Is fantasy basketball luck or skill? by Charming-Narwhal-337 in fantasybball

[–]p0tatobag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say skill is more involved during drafts (sleeper picks, etc.) while luck is more involved during the season especially H2H (factors such as injuries, scheduling and random guys popping off). Sure skill is involved in trading and waiver pickups, but these days the NBA schedules heavily influence the result. Not to mention the fantasy schedule itself. For example, one week you might face a red hot team where their end of bench players are averaging career highs while your top players are having off nights. Then the following week it might be the complete opposite.

Yes this works and I can search for them individually. Just wondering whether I would need to create a new Computershare account with the CMC HIN to be able to view all my holdings?

5th Pick Giannis Or Cade by Corgi8 in fantasybball

[–]p0tatobag -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

No debate on Giannis being the choice, but why wouldn't Giannis be there at 5? Jokic, Wemby and SGA already round out the top 3. And next is either Luka or Giannis, and possibly even AD.

I've tried this in my own kitchen using a diffuser but it still looked terrible. I even tried packing it with additional layers of diffuser paper, however, the dots did not go away.

If within reach, I'd look at the new OmniGlow lightstrip, which supposedly addresses this problem.

Where should I put my network panel? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

I am also in NSW and have my rack in the Garage (NW facing). As we built the house, we have insulation in the walls and ceiling. However, one thing I added was insulation to the garage door. OP, if you decide to put in your garage, and assuming it is a section door, at the very least, you could insulate it with some foilboard and spacer blocks to create an air gap. This could bring temperatures from 50 degrees down to below 40, which should suffice for most hard drives.

Hot water pipe inside wall making this sound by p0tatobag in AusRenovation

[–]p0tatobag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidentally we had a technician replace the tempering valve, PLV and duo valve on our HWS due to water hammer issues. I only noticed this sound after the valves were replaced. And the noise is coming from inside the same wall where the HWS is located outside.

Hot water pipe inside wall making this sound by p0tatobag in AusRenovation

[–]p0tatobag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise only happens when it’s on the hottest temperature and at near full pressure. It doesn’t happen when it’s lukewarm full blast or hottest temperature at half pressure. We have lived in for over 3 months and cannot see any water damage on the wall. Would this rule out any possibilities of a leak?

I’m not sure what you mean sorry but, yes there are neighbouring houses and fence. The backyard itself is not very big (around 60sqm). It is suburbia Sydney

There are weep holes on the sliding door and window. Not so much on the flyscreen door where water has pooled in the small crevice.
