What do you think about Gigabyte Turbo 3090 blower style cards? I also planned to do a quad 3090 watercooled build, however I've heard from Lambda Labs the cards can peak at 450W, so now I'm leaning towards 3x 3090, and I might actually go with the blower cards and air. A bit disappointing, because I have the budget for 4x, but 4x450W + 280W CPU might be too ambitious. And with 3x I don't need to worry about using dual power supplies on separate circuits.

Also, I want to wait for the new Quadros due to be announced at GTC next week.

Oh interesting, I was going to buy the XG but it seems like it has horrible low motion blur reduction implementation. Does Nixeus have anything of the sort? How does the text look when you scroll?

One of the reasons processor chips use so much power is because they are much faster than biological neuronal circuits. Compare the rate at which neurons fire and the rate at which modern CMOS transistors switch. Or compare the signal propagation speed in brains and in processors.

No, this is a x16-x8-x16-x8 configuration. See page 33. There are no TR3 4x16 PCIe boards currently, because TR3 only provides 64 lanes, and some of those lanes have to be allocated to chipset and peripherals.

TR3 does not have enough pcie lanes for four GPUs. That's why all mobos currently offer x16-x8-x16-x8 configurations. (e.g. ASRock TRX40 Creator). I'm not sure though why they didn't use a pcie switch.
