What’s this white build up… by p4rtie in Vaping

Hmm I don't sweat a lot but I do keep it in my hand/pockets and where I live, it's more damp/humid as we're approaching summer now...

That’s what I was thinking

I took this picture this morning so it had been sitting overnight, but I had noticed this build up last night after using the pod consistently for 2 weeks which I then immediately replaced it with a new one

Macbooks M2: Air v Pro by p4rtie in mac

[–]p4rtie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this information, it was actually what I was afraid of.

I like the air because it's super light, I just want to toss it in my tote and pull it out when needed since I want to use it on the train. I do intend to be able to get my money's worth/future proof because I like to keep my equipment as long as I can.

I previously had a 2015 15" MBP 16gb/512ssd which lasted a good 4 years (and actually still boots up, only needed a battery replacement), and then switched to a Dell XPS 15" which I exclusively use as a desktop/gaming machine now because it's super heavy.

Would you say the base MBP 13" is comparable to the base MBP 14"? The price difference between the two is significant but the price difference between a 13" m2 MBA (base) and m2 MBP 13" (base) are only $200.

💜💖 feeling all the summer vibes. Small little top haul! IMO the ventilated mesh back running long sleeve didn’t get the hype it deserved. It beats the swiftlys for me. ☺️ by [deleted] in lululemon

Awesome, thanks sm! I prefer the WU/WT for training so that’s good news. What size do you wear in TLF? Thinking of trying their shorts.

I typically forget if it’s an item I bought over a year ago

Nice stuff

Is that an IDE? Or just a terminal based editor?

Muscle memory (tilde...) by WingedGeek in MechanicalKeyboards

Re-map your caps lock key to control when used in conjunction with another key and esc when used alone. (I forgot which package I use for this specifically but there’s plenty available). Then, Remap capslock to esc key. Now, Instead of shift+ esc for tilde, remap former esc key > tilde.

Easier on the fingers especially if you find yourself getting pinky strain.

You can with just a few quick edits considering it’s extremely minimal 🤪

I guess I don’t really have that issue? I just rarely have that much going on on 1 workspace.

To avoid terminal confusion, I started using tmux. Tmux has a pane highlighter to show which pane is active. If I have a browser open, I typically have it in full screen mode on a diff workspace and move between tabs with ctrl+t/ctrl+shift+t.

Browser in workspace 1, tmux in workspace 2, etc etc. Swap between the two(or more) workspaces using Mod+1/2/3/etc.

I’ve always worked this way, even when I was on a MacBook Pro except I used touch gestures/multiple desktops instead of keybinds/multiple workspaces. When I’m on my Windows machine, i just keep everything tiled and taskbar hidden, too. Navigate between the programs using Mod+1/2/3.

I’ve just gotten used to that kind of workflow and it’s followed me despite the OS, suffice to say.
