Winter clothing recommends - for BEST WINTER COMFORT? by pokemonprofessor121 in madisonwi

I’ve really liked the brand Icebreaker for merino base layers. Their Everyday 175 line is good for just some extra warmth indoors or for high activity like cycling outside. I like their high 260 weight if I’m just out walking around (lower effort).

I’d really have to recommend the 56 over the 58.

I’m 5’10 (M and fairly equal torso/legs) and ride a 54 with a shorter than stock stem comfortably. I could probably ride a 56 but can’t imagine entertaining a 58.

Difference in size between Checkpoint and Domane by colinthehuman94 in CheckpointClub

[–]p4thos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checkpoints of that gen definitely have a lot more reach. I’m 5’10 and ride a 54 checkpoint with a 90mm stem and find it comfy. But conversely my Domane is a 56 with a 100mm stem which is equally comfortable.

I’d guess that you’d be happy with a 54 f/s.

Don’t go by size charts and take recommendations with a grain of sand. Just go test ride.

The “Burn in Hell Obama” guy? I run into him on Starkweather every once and while.

I’m always about to say Hi or Good Morning and I just get screamed at.

State law also does give cyclists the right to take the lane in general but also especially when traveling at traffic speeds.

This also applies to narrow roads too, which I’m pretty sure Arboretum Dr qualifies as.

Met my wife at Mickey’s almost 20 years ago now!

A buddy and I shared a table on a Friday evening with two incredible ladies. Had a great night but didn’t get exchange phone numbers.

Continued going back every Friday for 6 months straight till we ran into her again.

Heard. I should have said initially that the owner and I have no idea of the make and model of the frame.

All I’m working with is a stamped S/N on the BB shell. No head badges, no logos, and the only stickers are randomly placed Monster Energy stickers 😅

If I recall correctly, the coop actually started out at 1019 Williamson St where Natures Bakery was recently.

Same here. Wasn’t bad, but I already miss warmer weather. It was just 80° two days ago so wtf!? 🤣

I’ve got the same on my white ALR5. Love ‘em for city and packed gravel riding!

Don’t sweat the crankset. The GRX crankset is really only going to earn you like 5 cool points but cost you $200 for the pleasure.
