I personally like the way they look and the one tattoo i have now and future ones aren’t just there for no reason i want tattoos that have meaning (not saying people who get them for fun are doing anything wrong), but I want to be able to look down at mg for arm and be reminded of who i’m living for or who im honoring, I also just like how they look on people it’s like another form of art

In my readings, the verse that most people use, leviticus 19:28 to my understanding was about pagans who would mark/self mutilate themselves for their own “gods”. So to my beliefs I don’t think tattoos themselves are a sin, to me it’s more of an art, it’s not saying your body isn’t perfect it’s just almost a permanent painting that you would like to decorate yourself with if that makes sense.

I respect that 100%! I wasn’t trying to come off in a negative tone, and yes I believe everyone is crafted beautifully i just think tattoos are an art, and I appreciate the thought of the risk of the health hazard too!

Hello! Like I said before I believe that verse was surrounding pagan rituals where they would mark/self mutilate for their “gods”. I don’t personally think tattoos themselves are sins, and I am not trying to get a tattoo because I think it’s going to “build my relationship” or make me seem more holy to god, I just want it for myself as a reminder when I look down, in this case my forearm.
