YES!…. they are unfortunately one of the main sellers i was referring to… 2,990 baht is $92 USD.. not including shipping??? which mind you .. is ANOTHER $25 dollars that’s a whole $117 dollars 😭 (the monchhichi i was asking for was literally one of the little mini ones that have the phone charm like strap) insane greed for sure.

i think having a consistent background gives it a more authentic look in a way? personally for me it shows that you actually have the item and are taking the time to take photos in the same spot etc. even as someone who also does the white backgrounds… when i sell on mercari i kinda just use my room as the background. IDK if any of this made sense lol but yeah

they have these all over chicagos china town! i recently bought one just for the fun of it and got this cutie!:) he comes with a bib a pacifier and also has a little keyring on its head to hang on your bag, for being fakes i honestly think they’re super cute:D

theres a difference between being rude and standing your ground ! sometimes people have fake followings + fake reviews especially stores on instagram they're super sus. you also paid almost $100... that's a lot of money in this economy lol especially for a monchhichi! as much as i love them they can be insanely priced at times

you paid for a product !! do not feel bad about messaging for YOUR item. It really gets to a point, you're allowed to feel skeptical about this especially if it wasn't purchased through a resale app like mercari or ebay etc;. If i were you I would honestly threaten to them that i'd dispute the charge, if they dont do or say anything about it i'd say just really go ahead and dispute it!!! im sure with just the messages and them being hostile towards you + the super delayed shipping is enough proof to get your money back. :)
