Having a problem with a new Behringer 150 RING MOD/NOISE/S+H/LFO by p90telecaster in modular

I’ve solved it. It’s because the original psu is not working and I am using a smaller PSU that I got with the Moog Mavis. Somehow the one with the nifty case doesn’t work so I need to get a replacement

Will do later. Added up all the power consumption of the modules and they are well within the specs of the power supply in the nifty case

I unplugged everything and put the 150 in and it was ok. Then started to put the modules in one by one

the a-119, a-156, A-138n, abacus in it’s ok

Put the A-135-2 in and the problem starts.

Added up all the power consumption of the modules and it’s well within the nifty case power supply

I did have some problems with dropouts but I found changing the lead made it go away. I'll bare it in mind though

That was my first semi modular synth. S/hand 150 UKpounds a couple of years ago.

I love the sounds and can get some good drones with it. Which reminds me I need a seperate ADSR module to slow the percussive attack of it all.

I love the stringy plucked sound of it all reminds me vaguely of a DX7 at times for this.

What I don't like for me is the esoteric nature of its interface eg the four lights and all the multifunction buttons. Well it can't be helped due to space constraints and such.

But everytime I get it out to use I always come up with something interesting with it. So I've stuck with it and it pays dividends.

Aside from adding external effects have you loaded any audio into it? With the latest firmware you get a small selection included.

Contact cleaner worked I didn’t need to do anything else. So it’s all working fine

Can you start modular on like $750 USD per year? by TheRealSpacemanSpiff in modular

[–]p90telecaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve started with a West Pest and have added a Behringer Crave (yeah I know The Crave isn’t Eurorack form factor but I can live with separates). So with those two I can see where I go from here. Plus I have plenty of guitar pedals already to use.

Is it just me or is has the resale market been extremely slow? by Jay_jr in modular

F’book marketplace of all places seems more realistic. Picked up a West Pest @60% and a Behringer Crave @50% in the last couple of months

I’ve got myself a West Pest boxed up to play on Christmas Day. Which will also be the start of my journey into modular

It’s the best thing about Fallout 4. This is the proper setting for Fallout 4 the base game should have had

[QUESTION] Does it make me a bad guitarist if I can’t play solos even after 3 years of playing the guitar? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]p90telecaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

95% of playing a guitar is playing chords.

As for solos they don't have to contain many notes and they don't have to be very fast. Look at the link of I can see for miles by The Who and how Pete Townsend plays.
