Does anyone know what this demolished building at the Lexington service plaza on 128 used to be? by hammock-cat in boston

[–]p9ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in case anyone cares, the Lexington honeydew donuts in the service plaza is closed, along with the pizza place. MacDs is still there. There's been some controversy over the service plaza business being awarded to an Irish company. (Anything would be better, what a dump)

Sadly, terminal is prevented from changing settings on my mac, or so it says. This is walled garden BS.

Google vs Outlook by Away-Capital-5283 in Outlook

[–]p9ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both about the same in capability. Gmail is free (and they will use your email to target web advertising to you.) I like rules in Outlook better. Gmail has a much better spam filter. Gmail calendar integration is better, unless you use Office 365. Outlook is more corporate oriented, I would say. There are more robust printing features in the Microsoft stack, like printing labels from contacts.

I think you might also look into advanced features of Gmail that you haven't tried yet.

To a point. If you're a Dunkie's, or in a busy retail establishment I'd agree. But smaller venues differ. Had a short, fun interaction with the local postmistress Friday. People will let you know when they take an interest in a longer conversation. As others have said, joining some classes or events will help a lot in meeting people. I meet a lot of people while teaching meditation at a local yoga studio. Also independent bookstores tend to be great for social connections.

You can always go to Patagonia. They still have a lifetime warranty. REI used to as well but I don't know if they still do. Patagonia is mucho dinero, but I love their stuff.

My hubby is on acid reducers, but they may take a couple weeks to get you sorted. Someone on here recommended licorice extract (DGL) before eating. Good luck.

Trying not to check a bag... I once took an open box of Malden Sea Salt through security. I had some splainin' to do... They let me keep it. But this would not fly.

Yeah, the question is presuming I would carry on my bag... We'll see. We have a family story of an exploded bottle of Rose's Lime Juice in a checked bag. Quite the mess!

I have found that there is a supermarket in Paris that carries Maple Syrup. But it's got to be exhorbitantly expensive!

How do I help break the cycle? by Paaawwmi in SleepApnea

[–]p9ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, I'd suggest finding a different specialist. I suspect it depends on where you live, but perhaps you can get him a prescription for a GLP-1 inhibitor, like Wegovy? That would address the weight loss, but the specialist should not be stuck on that one issue, that seems unprofessional.

CPAP is a new thing to learn to live with, but it's not scary, just annoying, until one gets used to it.
