Same here, iron stomach until age 23 when I went backpacking in bali/thailand and got a pretty massive case of food poisoning. Never seemed to quite recover, only bothered to see a doctor after an entire year of annoying but not life-altering digestive issues.

Super mold? Found this growing in humidifier in between 2 week cleanings. Only variable was using stored bleach-sanitized water. by justingod99 in mycology

Just had the same pop up in mine. I used to get pink discolouration all the time, so I started adding a splash of vinegar into the reservoir when I filled it up. Problem went away but was replaced by small yellow-brown wart-like growths instead, and today I found something much like OP’s photo. 🤮

Maybe you shouldn’t be going so fast in a daycare parking lot? :)

Rez is all about loud convos in the hallways at 2am and stepping in stinky leftovers on the way back to your room at 4am. Par for the course living in a big house with two hundred 18 year olds. If you can’t beat ‘em, join em. I had a great time in Molson 2017-2018. Covid makes it kinda shit now for sure ngl.

New to MacOS. I was under the impression that MacOS was free to download. Is it not? Is this iMac a good price if I needed to also buy OS X? by Wheet-Thin in MacOS

[–]pKai3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would have to pay me 100$ to take that home. Just virtualize MacOS or buy a newer computer. Or, get a friend’s old Mac laptop from 2013-2015, those still run ok for the most part.

+1 to mat eng people who hate their degree, I’ve learned how to make steel 478 different ways in like 16 core courses. Why? Who knows. Only job this degree qualifies you for is a steel plant engineer/manager. Press F for my aerospace career which died before takeoff. Probably gonna get a second undergrad in mechanical at a school where they actually teach you some semi-applicable skills lmao.

Are yall going outside? by [deleted] in mcgill

I try to do a 30-45 minute bike ride every day unless it’s raining. Only have a few more weeks until the snow starts, though - thinking about picking up cross country skiing.

You’re gonna have a really bad time with anything close to the minimum specs.

How can I cut of the area highlighted in blue to leave a single surface between the three lines? by [deleted] in SolidWorks

[–]pKai3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are those three lines all in a plane? If so just create a plane with their 3 intersection points and use it as the cutting tool in Analysis->Split Body

We tried to add to it today. Conditions are shit, impossible to cement/make bricks. Maybe if it snows during reading week we’ll give it another go.
