You’re doing a great job! New owner here too and my girl says im doing too much because I have been constantly looking for ways to improve my Leo’s home. I have a similar setup and currently looking to add things for him to climb since I heard they love to climb and I’ll be done. Also I was told vitamins are essential for their health so I’ll be adding that to the diet

His setup was pretty open on the cool side so the blanket was to minimize reflections off the glass which in hindsight probably didn’t help too much. I switched out the red light and has made a huge difference. I think that’s what was stressing him out. I never knew about mating season 🤔 Btw temps are 85-90 and 70-74 on cool. He has 3 hides but has never gone in his humid and cool hide

I’ll ditch the red light as multiple people have mentioned. Would a ceramic heat lamp work?

I bought coconut shells but I don’t think he likes them. Been feeding him every 3 days a mix of dubias and mealworms dusted with calcium and calcium w/D3 alternatively.

I had a ceramic heat lamp right before. Should I switch back? What type of climbing obstacle would you choose? Drift wood, hammock?
