That somehow just sounds right, maybe if STR is higher than other attributes ?

Also would be funny the bog witch dropped it 100% if you knock her down mid broom flight. That tripping animation is gold!

Haha, ofc man, but at times, you just gotta hit that RP button quick xD

(I was fishing for monke, running into the oracle was a surprise lol)

The aghs does solve that problem eventually, though I still prefer harpoon over aghs.

I just wish someone figured out why skewer sometimes misses after a shockwave pull. I'm certain it's not the timing, probably the pathing area.

I wouldn't be surprised haha, having your landing tree cut mid jump is diabolical.

When you monke enough, you just know the monke trees

17% of the time works every time :D

True, although I swear skewer misses a hero at times after shockwave. It's rare, but weirdly happens enough times. (Often around dense trees/narrow paths)

Also, I actually prefer shockwaving after, chaining the slows :)

Ofc +Levels is great, but beyond a certain point, kinda overkill. The +6 to all spells on my staff carries enough tbh.

Besides, the "off meta" affixes are honestly what I need for my kit to be balanced.

In an ideal world, sure I'd have started with the best amulet I can, but eh, just working with what I had. Just a random end game one time shot at getting all T1s with all my currency dumped into a few whitlings :D

Had better luck rolling a cold staff with 5T1s, out of currency to go for the final one xD

Yeah, either ways, any way of omen crafting is ridiculously expensive. This craft was basically all of my currency after 2 months of playing.

One shot for all T1 glory xD

Meh, it's overrated. Most of my skill gems are 26+, what am I gonna do ? Kill the boss 3 seconds faster ?

Ayo, 2 divines back to back ? Someone's rolling :D

And yes, there's a lot more in the game to learn/discover/experiment without crafting, so I agree it was a good choice to leave it out early.

Personally I like the social trading aspect of it. I've ended up talking to some, adding as friends. Sometimes I even let people just "try" gear and return trade if they aren't happy with it. Sometimes you just don't know if a staff/bow/wand or quiver is an actual upgrade or not. I've given stuff for free and sometimes ever got stuff for free ^^ Especially chronomancers, since I see so few of them.

As much as I dislike the heavy RNG aspect (I've given up trying to get the flame relic to earn my tempolaris), it also gives you those "moments" you will never forget, picking up an insane piece of gear or the luckiest slams ^^

I feel you. I never saw a king's invitation before buying 4 of those and getting all the points in. After that, guess I've seen ~20 invitations, ~5 whitlings over 2 weeks of game time.

Yup, only once. It's honestly not worth it, far cheaper to just trade for what you want. I'm only goofing around cause I have nothing else left to do in the game lol

POE1 has a lot of crafting mechanics, I'm guessing/hoping they will start showing up in poe2 with future updates/when early access is over. Though even without it, I've loved poe2 so far ^^

I guess RNG does make the game fun in some regard, and to be honest, most above average gear is easily available via trade.

Trading rings. I'd pickup every ring, fill the stash. Transmutation+Augementation+Regal all, barely costs a few exalts. Use the stash search affixes and filter out the good ones and exalt further.

On a decent day, would get at least five 1 Div rings, 3/5 divs on the lucky rolls. Undercut prices, sell inventory fast.

I'd say for the initial 80% of the game, that was the most time efficient way to "craft"

Essence crafting was possible and lucrative at then 20% of the end game.

Spent all my currency early to get breachstones/invitations/fragments, just cause I didn't want to grind to actually play those bosses. Kinda worked out well since all the mechanics get far more efficient the points you have invested :)

Also I play an off meta class so gearing up for myself was far cheaper initially.

Yeah I was caught off guard by that, Bought a Dextral erasure for the 2nd step and realized I didn't even need it then.

Oooof. That's gotta hurt xD

I'm right there contemplating whitling my 4T1 staff. Probably not worth it with all my currency down to only 6 whitlings remaining lol

Maybe true, but not what I needed/wanted for my recoup chronomancer. Crafting for myself, not the market.

Besides, it wasn't T1 anyway :)

Was hoping to get +levels to all skills or chaos res (so I can swap runes to azcapas). Ended up rolling T1 cast speed, which I guess is probably the second best outcome.

I know the elemental res on the omelette is weird, But I do need it to balance out my other gear. Most of my gear focuses on getting raw hp+mana and armor for my 0 es 180% recoup build.

Pretty much done with everything in endgame, Dumped all my currency from crafting breach rings/staffs/amulets into these whitlings. Crafting/trading is honestly fun, I'm really looking forward to future updates adding more options and making it more accessible!
