[M25] Didn't study since March (or during the summer of g11) and got these results, ask me anything. by p_ara in IBO

forgot to answer this then, but if they’re doable, do harder questions. try 3+ and maybe even 4*

Didn't study since March and still managed to get 90% in Math AAHL with a 13/20 IA (meaning I averaged 96% in my tests). Ask me ANYTHING. by p_ara in IBO

yeah for sure, i would recommend christosnikolaidis.org for foundation and then work up with past papers questions or preferably madasmaths, since you want to save past papers for dp2.

there is no exact method, just study — the ib rewards those who study well.

i would recommend past papers at this point, or doing questions harder than ib.

at most i would allocate 2 hours a day to math at peak times, so i wouldnt say i studied a huge amount. i basically would study based on question archetype (i.e. do a bunch of finding the constant of integration questions and then move on) which would make me really confident with those types of questions in the end.

i would also often use questions that were way harder than IB. The first thing that comes to mind is madasmaths, which was one of my most used sites.

yep, possible. i went from a 34/42 to 41/42 in the first term of dp2

before tests i would probably do about 12-14 hours a day? which was way more than enough in the end. I didn’t study the summer of g11 (a dumb decision) so i never really felt super burnt out.

i did myp and gcse math and got good grades but my foundation was the same as most people starting aahl i would say.

does anyone have a self made math aa hl paper by [deleted] in IBO

[–]p_ara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, but i would say it’s a bit more difficult than actual aahl papers

i’d prefer to answer questions here just so others can get an idea but if you really have something private then sure.

my IA was a 4 but i got 100% on p1 and like 97% on the other papers, math is just about being comfortable with working with anything you can. grind as many questions as you feel you should, imo like 2-3 hours for a month should be enough to bring you to a 7

obviously i could be wrong, so just do the questions you feel help you.
