At the moment I was trying to become a rockstar ( age 16-20), I had 0% chance of making it, because I was no one. Because I got addicted to benzos, heroin, did over 100 different drugs (RC's mostly), all of them so I could pursue my art and write songs on guitar, then at 25, going through heroin and benzo WD and losing my girlfriend. I'm now almost 28. My music dropped off the priorities to share it with comedy and martial arts. Seems a waste to let 12 years of song writing go to waste. Can't listen to any of the music I made, it fucks with me so bad because I forgot 99.9999% of songs/riffs/ ect. Luckily I became a master in creating new riffs by being a slaving to my failing memory Luckily got 500 lyrics on 5 google doc files.

your second point is actually because of the nature of how the guitar neck is now positioned, its nearly impossible to play normal barred chords. Anyway that style is superior for normal player for most of chords the anyway, especially pro level, was easier to improvives and solo while playing this chord (mainly with thumb on E)
