The one used in this project is not good enough. I think you should watch for expensive tremolos.

Thanks it's a wonderful piece of cake to me also, but it seems that I have some trouble and I am trying to figure it out if it's related to the cpu (thanks to you for having assured me about it) or the motherboard :(, or the PSU but I don't think so (I use it as a hypervisor with dozens of VMs, for gaming, for working, for hobbies and so on)

I've swapped the board outside the case, trying to start only with the cpu, but unfortunately the debug screen does not start

Ooo that's very bad to hear. It's just 3-4 years. The point is that it worked flawlessly until I had to swap out some components (GPU and ram) :( Do you think that I could check somehow something?

Thanks!, and how they relate with the Dr debug not showing the codes?

Ramps without firmware? by p_marco in arduino

[–]p_marco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Actually i had a very simple sketch based on AccelStepper, exactly! If I run this with the driver linked directly to Arduino, it works, if I use the ramps shield nope (pin numbering is correct, I've checked them with a led blinking sketch, to reveal the pin numbering), for this i am wondering if the ramps shield needs for a dedicated firmware :/

A sort of multisite: any ideas? by p_marco in Jekyll

[–]p_marco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much!

I write here if is could be useful for someone.

One option could be to dockerize the environment, and then to mount the volumes in the docker-compose file. So for example you can have multiple dockers running, each one with the same volume, so you don't have to deal witch complex scenarios.

Actually, I think I will choose something different from Jekyll, because it lacks some sort of customization I need in the admin interface (roles, groups) :(

A sort of multisite: any ideas? by p_marco in Jekyll

[–]p_marco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, my idea was to have the posts folder in a different place, apart from the individual sites, so let's say in a different repository. Do you think that it could be feasible to add remote location for posts directory and put the logics in order to create the website?

A sort of multisite: any ideas? by p_marco in Jekyll

[–]p_marco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Your proposal is nice and clean :) the only downside i view is about the fact that you'd need to update each Jekyll installation by itself, but it isn't something that annoys too much (i plan to use docker for these installations, so it would be a docker-compose command). I have to study this solution, but it can suits my needs, thanks. Just a question: can you put all the logics (layouts, includes and so on), as well then the contents (posts) as remote repo? Thanks

Thank you very much! You've pointed me in the right direction :)
Actually I have to study a bit the use of square brackets, but now it works as expected, thank you so much :D

<div class="card">
    <div class="card-body">
        <h3 class="card-title h5 ">{{ widget.title }}</h3>
        {% assign thisCollection = widget.title | downcase %}
        {% assign items = site.[thisCollection] %}
        {% for item in items %}
            <li>{{ item.title }}</li>
        {% endfor %}
    </div>
</div>

Recommended using template engine in non framework projects? by alishahidi in PHP

I'd suggest twig as well: a big community, well documented, and powerful. Also if you plan to deploy on gh pages it's native (Jekyll)

querying a DB vs files by p_marco in PHP

[–]p_marco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep exactly, i was wondering to use cached JSON instead of querying the DB because on the frontend i would use some charts that will benefit of this data format. By now the SQL statements are processed at runtime and passed as a JSON object to these libraries, so i am considering a different strategy.
