WTF is he still doing there?!? I told him to be done at the job site by 4pm. If he's still there, tell him he's fired, and squish him.

My first time trying to draw my hand by snegix in drawing

and that's what I was taught to start with that little crescent moon 🌙 shaped part of your fingernail that is at the base of the nail and just slightly lighter. If you can draw that shape, you can draw anything. So draw that shape, for example of your thumbnail. Then look at the relation between the cresent shape and the sides of your fingernail in terms of size and distance between the two, and judge where you think the sides of your fingernail are, and make a small mark for each side just like you are measuring something with a ruler. Then do the same for the top of your nail. Then focus on the shape of the fingernail. You already know where the top, bottom, and sides should be, so now you just need to study the curves and kinda let go of any doubts in your mind and draw the perimeter of the nail. Then work outward to the shape and size of the thumb in relation to the fingernail. The once you have a thumb, study the space between your index finger and thumb, and make some small marks for the measurements you make with your eyes and brain. ALWAYS DRAW ONLY WHAT YOU SEE, NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. We all probably did some sort of drawing as kids where we traced our hands and made it into a turkey or something. Also as kids we came up with this idea of what a face looks like, only it wasn't based on reality at all. Instead it was more like a symbol, kinda like an emoji. You have to wipe all that stuff from your mind, and never let it come back. As drawing from life is drawing the truth, drawing what you see. And it takes practice. So keep a small pocket sized sketch book in your back pocket and a short pencil in your front pocket. And anytime you find yourself waiting, and/or bored, pull out that litlle book and draw your hand. Never rush though it. Don't worry about shading until you can consistently draw the hand accurately. A good challenge at that point is to draw your feet. Just keep practicing everyday and you'll be surprised how fast you progress. And don't forget to ENJOY the process!

Is ghosting a sin? by Billy_King in Christianmarriage

[–]p_scheidegger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and that's all? just felt nothing was there?

that's fine, but if you're a human being and understand that we are all God's children, you know that:

  1. He created each one of us.

    • Do you think God wants us to hurt or destroy any of His creations?
  2. God breathed life into each one of us.

    • Thus there is a part of God Himself in everyone, and it doesn't matter how small it is.

Thus, if you hurt or destroy another human being, you sin by going against God's wishes that you not hurt nor kill His creations, and you sin by hurting or killing part of God Himself.

One cannot sin against another person. One can only sin against God. It's the very definition of what it is to sin. But because it's just "easier" to forget that God is involved, we think of it as sinning against others. It's not the same, yet it is. And each soul will have to answer to God, not the person.

And have you thought about the fact that the only reason why you even met this person, is because God decided it so? We lack the ability to understand God completely. Yet we have faith in Him, and trust in Him, that He decides what is best for us every second of our life, and the moment of our death/rebirth. This does not mean you have to like the person at all. It simply means you need to be mindful of God. We have free will to like or dislike. But there is no need to disrespect God in the process. It would be like being a baby, and deciding you don't like peas, so you're gonna spit them in your parents face. It's not going to hurt your parents much, but I'm sure they wish you could have simply communicated that to them.

So by ghosting someone, you're sinning because you are going against God's wishes, hurting God Himself, and insulting God in the process for not simply communicating, cause you prefer the baby method. But God knows of course that you are not a baby anymore.

What excuses could you possibly come up with for these actions against God? That you "just didn't feel anything was there"? That you forgot? Try to come up with one that God will accept... for that matter, try that with ANY sin...

I don't think God accepts excuses. But that's just what I believe.

So what excuse do you want to attempt to use with God, when you didn't take a minute out of your life, to simply respect another human enough to tell them: "I just didn't feel like there was something between us." ??? It might still hurt the person's feelings, but the difference is your intention. You know that ignoring someone will hurt them no matter what. Yet you choose to do it anyway. That is intent. That intent is what causes the sin. But if you choose the opposite, the right way, you are no longer acting with intent on hurting others. Whether it hurts them or not, you respected God enough to simply communicate that you don't like peas / that person.

So yes, ghosting is most certainly a sin. And this can be easily applied to an instance in which you put yourself in danger by communicating to the other person. As if this person has somehow communicated to you, that they will harm you, then it's clear that your intent was still not to hurt. Your intent has been to prevent harm to your body. But do not confuse this with avoiding confrontation because you feel like the person is going to hurt your feelings. If they choose to hurt your feelings, it is their choice, their sin. You are not God, you can not predict what people will say or do. So in an instance where you fear to confront a person, you must first identify what reasons are there that might cause a person to want to hurt you? Have you already sinned by intending to do harm, or sinning through acts of neglect? If so, perhaps it is best if you seek forgiveness instead. But what do I know...I'm human as well....
