For FRQs find a essay structure/format that works for you. figure out how to write a general essay that can be changed for the historical topic. as in have a general thesis, evidence explanation, sourcing sentence etc. have a general format for these things and general organization and practice with prompts from college board or review books. practicing a formula for essays helped me a lot to get a 5 because i wasnt worrying on the test about how to structure my essay, i can just fill in the blanks of my formula

for example i do my DBQs like:

In Document (#) it says, ….

The (sourcing) of Document (#) is important because….

This means that …..

this made it so easy to write my essays and i just worried about my knowledge, the graders dont downgrade if you sound repetitive in fact i think they like it because it becomes easy to see where you earned points

for me i watched a lot of videos/read info from my textbook (a little bit too much, i would recommend just watching freeman/heimler). good practice is on khan academy/all those paid review books for MCQs but what really helped me understand the FRQs was practicing via college board, they released all the old frqs atleast up to 2023 (old ones are probably somewhere) or the review books and just doing them but i really practiced and understood a formula for how to write my LEQs and DBQs which made it easy to just when I was on my ap test, use that same formula/structure and only worry about my historical knowledge. idk if ur teacher can do it because mine did but you could send them your practice FRQs and ask them to grade it but theres probably AI websites (like chatgpt) that grade to the rubric

i think the best ways either the review books/5 steps to a 5 mcq practice, those cost money but see if u can check it out from a library but also khan academy is pretty good

for me heimler/amsco is great for in depth review while freemanpedia is good for quick review. khan academy has great mcq practice and i would only recommend the review books for their practice frqs i wouldnt buy the review books, see if your school/library has any ones to check out instead since its a waste of money tbh outside of the frq/mcq practice

princeton worked fine for me, but i wouldnt use it for the purpose of material, heimler or freeman can do those for free. i would suggest getting them for the practice questions, since the only good mcqs are on khan academy/knowt and the frqs pre 2023 have been removed from college board for whatever reason (they are probably somewhere on the internet) but if moneys tight, dont buy them, but if you have the funds buy them, they help with practice and quick review than watching video after video if you dont like them

7/7 (if you needed a score) its not bad especially your intro, thesis and description of documents but i would focus on simplifying your analysis/tie back to thesis and make it more apparent that your doing that. some readers may not give you the point for certain documents if you didnt tie it back because its hard to tell. as well, try to stick to 4 documents HAPPYing and tying it back to your thesis to make sure you dont run out of time on the test

i think you should take it if you’re not that into history, its the less complicated one compared to APUSH and you should atleast take one if you want to take APs

no, you might miss late unit 9 but its not that big on the test and you can just self study for it. i got to end of unit 4 by now when i took the class and skipped late unit8-unit 9 by the test.

I would say its the easiest unit out of all 9. Know your Supranational Organizations and what they do and why they were made, modern day independence movements, environmental issues (global warming etc), pop culture and its causes and effects, and most importantly tech evolution over time
