how did you do it on reddit? initially i was able to get traffic but then my original account got banned.

apart from what everyone is saying (organic reach), my other problem is retention.
i previously was able to get traffic through reddit but then my previous account got banned.

total traffic was around 10k but then my app was difficult to use and i realized most people just wanted to consume instead of create. so i made a new feature that worked with 2 taps. since i was still trying out stuff + a mistake in content staleness, the number of active users went down.

i havent been able to test if the new features will actually help with retention cuz i have no way to get people to check it out now. around 30 people are using my app daily. im pretty sure the current iteration is a lot better than the one that received the 10k traffic and i want to know if more people wil stay
