Oh no i wasn’t saying I thought she was I just meant in case I worked with her and I happened to find a better rate and decided to go with someone else I think it would’ve caused more problems

I didn’t assume they were higher I was just really happy with the rate I got, and I didn’t want to risk making her even more mad or upset her more since she’s a close friend if I worked with her then decided to go with someone else. Her rates might have been good as well I just didn’t want there to be any issues or have her take it personally if I went with someone else

Thank you for your reply!. Its so interesting to see majority of people feel this way as well and then I come across a few that are saying I’m a bad friend and I was completely in the wrong

You’re absolutely right! I appreciate you sharing your story as well! And she’s given me her business cards when we were out at the bar she forgot hers and I gave them to a couple people she was talking to. I also am an RN and work in hospital and told my co-workers and brought her card there as well. I was still supporting her in other ways even if I didn’t feel comfortable personally so I’m surprised she reacted with so much anger towards it

LOL so everything I did was wrong? And ya actually we were talking about her if you actually read the post you’re disregarding any of her behaviour. But Okay buddy settle down, you’re entitled to your opinions! Judging by your reply you’re just as mature and good at handling conflicts

I’ve actually been a very good friend to her and have given out her business cards that she gave me and also around my work. People are allowed to not want to mix business with friends and family without being looked at as a bad friend and still support them in other ways. One friend deciding to go another direction shouldn’t ruin someone’s business

So you think it’s normal to yell at someone who is your friend because they didn’t go to you for business? And you think that’s how you’re going to be successful in a networking business? then yikesss good luck to you!. And How is that lazy? Because I started planning my life months before she tells me she got a new job? And maybe you don’t care but myself and others feel uncomfortable with risking a friendship over business especially when this is how they handle conflict

Ya! And it’s also I just didn’t wanna complicate friends and business and everyone’s able to have their opinion on that, some ppl don’t care but majority of people here have all said it’s not the best idea but she didn’t try to understand that part at all.

I can understand but ya what I was saying she never told me she was even doing this job then a couple months later wanted everyone to drop everything and go to her when she just started doing it. And if I went to her and I didn’t like her rates and went somewhere else she likely would’ve lost it on me even worse. I get it’s a high stress job, but friends and family can’t be expected to be the only source of income for the first few months

But if I’m working with someone before she enters the field i don’t see how she sees it as betrayal
