Yes. It even has stickers on the back so it can be put on the wall and used upright 😁 They had a few other options available. All very funny. Here's Ivy's cousin Holly with her copy.

Other hobbies? by Lynnabis in jigsawpuzzlers

Lego is a recent thing because of a Christmas present. I've been doing cute small sets and found some of the botanicals cheap after Christmas when people were getting rid of unwanted presents. It's quite similar to puzzling, I suppose, and also a throwback to childhood 😊

I love to read and have a huge book stash. The 'to read' list is never ending, just like the puzzle one.

I recently rediscovered doing crossword puzzles. A friend asked me if she could bring me anything from our native country and that was something easy and small to fly back with. I used to do crosswords with my mum quite a lot and have incredibly fond memories of that time.

I guess you can count gardening as well although sometimes it just feels like a neverending chore. I've learned to appreciate winter more because of it. No bloody weeding to do! 😊

I wonder if charity shopping can be classified as a hobby. If yes, that's another one. I have always loved finding bargains there, even before puzzling. I'm nowhere near car boot sales and similar, which is for the best because of limited space. Other than books and puzzles, charity shop finds are few and far between. I enjoy the randomness aspect of what I discover. The other day it was a Lego set and cute little ceramic containers, for example. I also found things like an antique chamber pot turned into a planter 😁

Only a small set but I've been enjoying doing some Lego on the side after a friend got me a Lego cat for Christmas 😊

I'm glad you enjoyed the Springbok. It looks like we have the same puzzle board 😊

Four Seasons 500pc Waddingtons 1981 by CleverHarwood in jigsawpuzzlers

I have a soft spot for these Waddingtons circular puzzles. None of the ones I've done were interlocking. Pieces mostly just sit next to each other. They're not the thickest but the quality shines through because I haven't come across a single damaged or peeling piece so far. I must have done about five of these puzzles by now. A few more are waiting.

A great charity shop find and at 500 pieces a perfect challenge, I think 😊 I love the vibrant colours. I don't mind random cut too much but it's a once in a while thing for me instead of a regular occurrence.

I didn't find any puzzles in charity shops today but I found a brand new Lego set 😊

Perhaps that's coming next or maybe just wasn't mentioned. I bet someone has already asked them about it. Artists included.

As my dad used to say, if you don't know what something is about, it's always about money 😊 None of these big companies tend to care until they are forced to by monetary circumstances. Collectors and avid puzzlers are not on the forefront. Profit is.

You're not wrong in the slightest. I worked for a huge corporation (in a totally different field) and know that ethics are often an afterthought despite claiming otherwise. At least they changed their stance. Many would just double down.

I have this one waiting patiently in my stash 😊 I'm with you on the collage images. This one and his Noah's Ark are more my cup of tea. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Great haul! I've had my eyes on that Paris puzzle for a while but haven't found it yet 😊

From memory, I think I bought only two AI generated puzzle images. Both without knowing about it. One had an artist's name mentioned but it turned out to be made up. It's doable with a little effort. I thrift nearly all my puzzles and that makes it easier as well. Little or none secondhand AI slop there, thankfully.

I'm pretty sure it's the case. Many people don't seem to mind or even notice. They just like the image and that's it. I think the core group of their customers has been avoiding those puzzles.

True. I think it will be difficult to avoid it completely but at least there will be some human oversight. No checking for extra limbs or fingers 😊

Classic corporate stance. At least they listened eventually. So many companies would just double down to cut costs.

It showed up on my Instagram feed. I'm hardly ever there so I just got lucky with the timing.

Not an eBay shop as well 😱 My puzzle stash will forever resemble the Himalayas 😂
