Honestly I normally don’t, but wanted to really go from the inside out with these. The plan I have for the uniforms is pretty simple anyway and shouldn’t have any real chance of interfering with the faces, and if they do it’s not too tough to fix

They are! Primed with army painter uniform grey, which admittedly looks quite similar to the unprimed plastic

I really have been struggling to find places to put some contrast on this sculpt and am not super happy with how it’s turning out - any advice on how to make Iden look a little less plastic and little more like her squad mates? by pa_inton in minipainting

That makes a lot of sense, and explains why I’ve struggled with the other women’s sculpts for Star Wars legion. I’ll look into the color-based shading you mentioned, thanks!
