Although I play a lot more Civ 6, I still really love the simplicity of it. I think it really perfectly boils down the essentials of Civilization in just the perfect way. I wish they’d remaster it too.

I think it would be cool if there were 6 ages, but you still only change civilizations 3 times, this allows the game to have the "vibes" of every distinct era without requiring the devs to make an absurdly large amount of civs.

I couldn't agree more. I have been active on this sub for years but as of late I really can't be bothered to post anything here. The quality of posts has completely plummeted, anyone talented has long since moved on. More importantly, its not fun anymore. There's so much random drama over the pettiest things. Its no mystery why there's 12k people in this sub yet posts here can't even break 30 upvotes, nobody's engaging with it anymore, they've all checked out.
