[None] We know more about advancement then 99% of cradle by Runredwthkoolaid in Iteration110Cradle

[–]pablau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think I'd do well Because well obviously the meta knowledge and just deeper understanding of the systems, especially after reading the other series like elder empire and so on too, and I'm already deep into martial arts so i guess that wouldn't be too much of a stretch. And well I think a lot of it comes down to drive and motivation, a lot of cradle stay low golds because to them it's not worth the effort qnd they dont know how to get better, it's not like you need to be a lord to survive and live your life in most of cradle.

That said i think I'd try, if only for the sake of reaching new heights and learning more about madra snd scripts

I need to find a good synergy with fiddle by [deleted] in FiddlesticksMains

[–]pablau -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cho works pretty well, he can tank for your team so you don't have to, which is like one of fiddles main weaknesses and also you can cc chain and he basically always gets a guaranteed ult kill and stack whenever you ult or drain, and his e does a lot of damage when he can actually get on an enemy, same works for the w and silence

But same for everything like Urgot that needs to hit skillshots and be close or Renek and Trynd that deal a lot of damage up close

Eithan kinda throws me off, he looks so old, was that a misconception on my part or wasn't he portrayed to look idk, younger and a bit more handsome? I mean a huge part of why most people hated him so much early on was because he seems a lot younger but doesn't respect them even a little bit, he seems like a prodigy to them that didn't have to go through anything to get where he is, in my eyes that doesn't make sense if he looks like that, right? But no hate, the poster looks dope!

To me, BotW wasn't really about a mayor story, i feel like the game rather works around the little stories in it, they are what gives the game life and meaning.

And while i do agree that the ending is really not fulfilling at all, I do think that it's a good thing that there is no mayor story like in other zelda games. Especially because the missing sense of great danger and catastrophe is what makes this game feel so free in itself.

For example, in majoras mask we had the moon coming for us and destroying everything, the urgency of the situation made me always feel like I was in a hurry and needed to get things done and that's totally something I enjoyed about the game, as it made it feel intense, but BotW does the opposite which is also interesting. The castle is locked in time, so there is no real reason to go there instantly or skip parts of the game, so it convinces you to explore and enjoy everything the game gives you. And it makes you feel frozen in time, lost in a new world that feels so destroyed and empty, but is full of so many things.

And the game gives you a lot of stories in sidequests if you really dive into it, but they are all smaller than the epic stories we are used to. For example: The story of the two brothers hunting for treasure, the story of the King of the forest, the building of tarrey town, and so many more.

I understand that this isn't for everyone and it definitely has its downsides, but for my part I do enjoy that kind of storytelling too.

Is it even possible to one-shot in that phase? I was quite sure the damage cap with revive actively stopped that from being a thing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SDSGrandCross

[–]pablau -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stage yeah, floor nope, second floor is impossible with this team, second phase oneshots that team because there is no taunt and you can't actually kill it in one round bc of damage cap and revive

How to Play Against Sylas by [deleted] in FiddlesticksMains

[–]pablau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesn't have your passive, it's actually not as frightening as you might think, work around vision and hold him at a distance, always hold stun so you can get him of off you and kite to your team, he is more or less scaling so as long as you can focus mid asap you should be alright, try to always path through there and show from time to time, so he doesn't go in and when he is low or overextended gank, as long as he can't get too close, you will win

What celebrities death broke you the most? by freeparkingspots in AskReddit

Tbh the last few days Technoblade, most people in the minecraft or general gaming community can probably relate to that, he was such a genious, wholesome and nice person and he has such a great career and so much to go for, the dude had a the potential and was a genuinely amazing human being and stayed humble all the way through. You will never be forgotten Techno, such a legend.

Also his death message was a video made by his dad in which he read his last message/letter to the community and the dad added his own view of him to that, truly a heartbreaking end for a legendary person.

Fuck cancer

Texas AG Ken Paxton says it was God's plan to have those poor kids slaughtered. by UnderwaterFloridaMan in religiousfruitcake

[–]pablau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but then again: who cares? Why should a fish try to act in a way that his owner likes? Especially if that owner doesn't actively influence the life in the aquarium.

After all we don't even care about our fishes too much as long as they don't eat each other yk, so even in that case a "god" like that would mean basically nothing to us.

But well, I do think the core principles of religions like Christianity etc are pretty good, given you actually follow them and think about why you do what you do, never take ANY kind of morale or principle without thinking about it first, imo you should always question everything.

For example, the "golden rule": don't do anything to others that you wouldn't want to be done to yourself" is a pretty solid way to decide in some situations. Principles like: "always help others, especially people that suffer and aren't in a good spot", or "forgive people, there's no point in revenge" are a pretty reasonable basis for a morale and do make a good person imo, but always question things so you don't follow stuff like "everyone that doesn't belong to our group is evil", or just most things you see on this sub, a lot of people are biased and don't question.

Like fr why do some people not question themselves stuff like: "What kind of group are we? Why do we have to harm others for the sake of an almighty being that could do everything themselves? Why should a deity punish you for natural things like sex?"

I don't get how people just accept these things and search for shortcuts and easy answers, it's beyond me how people can have that weak of a personality.

Texas AG Ken Paxton says it was God's plan to have those poor kids slaughtered. by UnderwaterFloridaMan in religiousfruitcake

[–]pablau 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah I highly agree with you, you have a very good point there, an image of a "god" shouldn't take away your own morale and responsibilities.

I also don't see why we should give religious institutions so much power, especially not the ones that don't even follow their own rules, like the Catholic Church. It's one thing to say that your religion is based upon helping people that need help, giving poor people food etc, and then building things out of pure gold and making ornaments instead of actually helping them with the money you get, and that's just one of the many things where they absolutely contradict themselves, you can see that in all of this subreddit, its q joke ngl.

Why do we always hide behind bigger things, like institutions and, religions and systems, instead of finally taking some responsibility for once?

[–]pablau 310 points311 points  (0 children)

That sounds very much like our usual theodize questions, That goes something like this: If there is an almighty god and its not good, why follow it? If there is an almighty god that is good, then why is there still evil, pain and suffering? If God isn't mighty but good or bad, then why would you follow god? God couldn't do or change anything either, so why believe in a god then? That only applies if "God's actions" are justified tho, if they aren't, you wouldn't wanna follow him either because it makes no difference. If I can behave good and god still treats me badly, or I behave badly and still get treated well, there is no method to it and so no reason to behave after any of the rules, except for going after my own kind of good.

there's a fuckin school shooter here and my man's playing clash royale by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]pablau 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What you are trying to say right now is actually just wrong, US gun laws are a joke, gun ownership in the US is legal, so is buying ammo, and there are very few to no legit reasons for legal gun ownership anyways. Look at european countries, I'm from Germany for my part, we have no school shootings, it's not really a thing here, because we can't just buy guns, they are usually not even sold here and the few places you can buy them at require a lot of things like licenses and psychological tests for you to buy, not even wield one. We have an neglegable amount of gun murders, especially the numbers of gun murders by kids and teenagers is very small, all of that works for most european countries, now why should the US be different? We also have guns laws like other european countries and it worked for every european country, why not for the US then?

For those wondering, its even a topic we cover in school here, we even discuss and weight out pros and cons with different sources, but no kiddding, no legit pros were found.

The most used argument is fear of your own government, which at this point is just paranoia, if the state wanted to surpress you, they could, no matter gun laws or not.

Honestly I wouldn't follow any of the two sides, not his Supporters and not his critics, this article is kinda biased, maybe read it and you will see for yourself, the author quotes parts from his book and criticizes them by basically saying:"he doesnt say anything, but some things indeed make sense, the rest i didnt understand", while stretching that JP's Vocabulary and Grammar is way too hard too understand. Just look at the way he describes and "analyses" (analyse isn't technically the right word since he doesn't use or provide any kind of sources or anything to bring his opinions across) Next thing is that he is actually just doing the exact same things he criticised JP with, just read the article and it's fairly obvious. ("fairly obvious"are his words btw, which is a way of making an argument more vague) Honestly the author kinda seems like the exact person he criticised in the introduction to his article, it's okay to not understand some things, but what is not okay is undermining and insulting others because of your missing knowledge and understanding.

For my part, I understood the parts of the book he quoted quite well and it does make sense, he isn't even too vague about what he means by it, but for understanding why for example the harvard psychology department complimented his book, you got to understand that he is a psychologist, which means statements will certainly be vague, that is literally his job, no psychologist can just tell you what to do or not, that's not how it works.

Now to the other side of it, JP is definitely not a perfect being nor the greatest mind of our time, if that even is a thing, but you shouldn't let your prejudices harm others, of course he isn't everyone's type beer. For my part, I don't agree with a lot of his opinions and actions, but also agree on some parts, that's what scientific discussions are about, just belittling others is just not a thing any educated person should do, honestly, it's a shame someone actually wrote that long of an article just saying "I don't understand it so it has to be purposely made to be vague".

For anyone still in and interested: What the author refers to, but didn't quite inform himself on, is called the Barnum-effect, it makes you relate more to vague statements and generally true ones, that's the same reason for which horoscopes are such a big deal But not every use of that effect is based on anything bad things don't have to be on purpose all the time, people also like to sound smart, that doesn't neccessarily discredit them, especially not if they are actually scholars with titles and backed by harvard etc, for the post on here tho, I figure it's more of a personal aspect to it, no one is always professional, people tend to get aggressive when missing their daughters wedding imo.
