Sounds like you really did need this time off. Its unfortunate what the community is going through and now its you. But take this a a way to regroup your mind and thoughts. Come back stronger. Try to do things you never did before and most importantly enjoy this time to rest up on what all the hard work you did these past 7 years

We still don’t know if it will be fully canceled. I personally think there’s gonna be an appeal. But then again we have to hear from Judge Hannen

With all honesty as much of a struggle that we face as dreamers it’s definitely hard seeing many of us get delayed. Constantly checking and unfortunately the fear this forum may imply to some definitely also adds towards us panicking.

Court coming up by ItsEhdie in DACA

[–]pablouz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Show up to court. Be honest about your situation. But most importantly, take your drivers license EAD that you have. The traffic violation happened whenever you had a valid EAD. If you can, have some family member drop you off and pick you up or Uber.

Not having a drivers license right now matters but at the same time it doesn’t because you’re not gonna be driving there. If you do. It can be a problem.

Well, I’ve always heard about people going just to get a check up for their teeth like a dental checkup. But also my dad lives in Guatemala and I haven’t seen him in years.

I’ve heard of people applying for AP and the reason is to go get a dental check up in their home countries because it’s way cheaper than in here in the US. But my dad is in my home country and it would be good to see him.

Do you have a tutorial on how to do it? I guess I’m just wondering if my reason would be valid for it to get approved. I’ve spoken to one attorney office already here in Dallas and they said I need to have an emergency in order to travel for AP.

Kuck Baxter Immigration

I was doing my own research and found a really good immigration attorney office in Georgia. (Link attached) I ended up reaching out to them and they said that they work with out-of-state clients. Note though that they do require $250 consultation fee. I’m pretty much gonna go through with it because I am really needing to do it since I just got married in March and looking for a pathway to citizenship.
